If Hindsight is 2020 what about foresight? I think tomorrow we play Kai and Hakim as a dress rehearsal for Wednesday to see if they're up for it. You have to perform vs Fulham if you want to start at home vs Madrid no question.

I think TT has such a hard job here. Of all the winning combinations he's used I would say the 4 most valuable attackers are in no particular order Mason, Timo, Christian and Hakim.

These 4 have as far as I'm aware the most goals/assists for Tuchel's Chelsea. However we have yet to play all 4 at the same time as far as I'm aware ( I could be wrong if Pulisic was playing at wb). Now he could literally go balls to walls and play all 4 and 6 defensive outfield players but I doubt that will happen so the question is who misses out?

I'm assuming it will be the same front 3 as last week because it should keep their back line honest but I have to say Hakim has been scoring in big games and I think he could make a difference. With how much better Pulisic looks as a fwd it doesn't seem right to sacrifice that just to fit in an extra attacker but I don't think we should approach the game purely defensively we have to attack!

For all the talk Giroud doesn't fit our style of play he is another one who could randomly come in and make an impact. So many choices I hope TT gets it right.

While you are right saying that France is more of a counter attacking team but i disagree with many things. 

International football itself is very2 different, it is slower. In knockout stage especially, pretty much most games are between two defensive team who play medium or low block, boring football and whoever make less mistake win. 

Giroud was 3 years younger. He was slow, he is slower now. Based from how Giroud play this season, you can give up pressing with Giroud as your striker. Pretty much tammy is your best bet if you want height and speed

Hazard warning⚠ Eden starts for Madrid today I'll be keeping a close eye on his performance. We kept him quiet on Tuesday, will be interesting to see if we can do it for a much longer period. Considering he doesn't press and remains relatively high tactically I think we should be able to double up on him.

Not to sound arrogant but I don't think we need to double up on him or anybody.. will be keeping an eye on the game though. I see they have rested. nacho , Ramos , Mendy , Kroos and modric... 

It won't suprise me if Velverde is fit for our match. Thankfully Tuchel rotated today

I think Zidane is heavily reliant on Benzema so he will definitely be the player we need to mark out but I worry about Hazard being a wild card if he is fit. Remember the 15/16 season the way he finished in those last few games I'm still wary.

I think man for man we are the better tram here's hoping for a complete shut out. We need to score I think 2 will be enough to advance.

I'd play a front 3 of Pulisic, Werner and Havertz against Madrid, they will provide plenty of movement and penetration.

As long as we out play them like we did in those 30 minutes last game but for the whole game I think we stand a good chance to advance. This is assuming we take our chances, last thing we want is to get knocked out because we didn't convert.

I have no idea what to expect tbh, but the way we played at the start of that game had me dreaming. I wonder what TT will do next game, getting it right in attack seems like it would be the difference between victory and defeat.

While I dont think City will let us boss them nor beat them if we make it past Real sure would be nice to at least get to the final.

We got away without conceding today thanks to the brilliance of Mendy, our defence I thought was creaky especially on our left side in the 2nd half; I just hope Zouma is on the bench any momentum coming out from the back when he plays gets stifled as well over half of his passes are sideways or backwards. Let's hope Rudi is fit.  We need to score the first goal on Wed or it will be an uphill battle I fear.   My feeling is that this tie will be decided on penalties and that we come out on the right side of the scoreline.
