From the official Premier League Twitter account :face_palm:

Could they be more obvious?

What chance do the rest of us have when the official Twitter account post something like this.

How can they post something like this for a team that isn’t top of the league!

It’s an unbelievable tweet!

All the media coverage seems to be how Everton got what they deserved by trying to "cheat" Liverpool with the dark arts and time wasting.

Yeah, and Burnley have been playing like that every week for years and yet Sean Dyche is a legend of manager.

Everton could play exactly the same way against us next week and all of a sudden it will be acceptable because it’s against Chelsea and not against Liverpool.

I looked at their post when City won and it was much more professional, none of this one step closer rubbish. The thing is, Liverpool are no closer to winning the league than they were before the weekends round of fixtures, they are still 1 point behind. It's just so obvious who they want to win.

On the same day we find out Liverpool haven’t had a red card for 46 games!

And it’s not because they are an exemplary behaved club, it’s because they get lucky breaks and protection from officials that no other football club gets.

All that is why I put forward my case as a counter to @Nibs that we would be better off facing City. At least in that final we would have a small chance.

How can we beat a class side like Pool who have the governing body and the refs in their back pocket on May 14th? There is a better chance we see @Munkworth doing the can can on top of Boris Johnsons head.

The one thing I don't like about Gallagher is how he acts like he has been shot whenever he is tackled or just a minute ago when he dangled a leg out to try and win a penalty. It makes him look a bit stupid at times.

They are actively trying to keep the title race going. I’m sure lampard was right in his presser if that was salah going down in the penalty area at 0-0 it would have been a liverpool penalty

Well here is to hoping Real make Cities wait for a CL go on.

Also the Spanish journo sky sports have has labeled it "almost impossible" that they could get past Liverpool. No really...lol

Trying not to sound bitter (for a change), but this semi final just doesn’t feel like a big game. Man City are a great side obviously but they’re still just meh as a club and fanbase. Vanilla ice cream or beige paint.

You certainly do.

But that does not apply here mate. Pool are already in the final with this draw.

Don’t worry villareal will beat them, you said the same about Bayern and I said don’t worry villareal will beat them and they did

Nothing wrong with being bitter here mate. We scored 5 wonderful goals against Real. A stupid rule cost us 1 of them and we set up Reals 3rd at the bridge. We beat ourselves in the first game and they lucked out in the second.

We should be facing City today bit we messed it up badly.

Wonder what our fans who moan about Roman not backing Tuchel would have said if we put out the back line City are v Madrid in a CL semi, and have 5 kids on the bench. There really is no perfect squad.
