Nothing against City fans though it feels a bit wrong given the scandal behind the scene with UEFA.

On another note, I think it was here that someone was saying that Fergie made all his own luck I just looked back to 90's, I think it is fair to say looking at the bolded players below they were buying the top talent from other clubs at that time.

Take a look at this

In regards to drama and the general ‘storyline’, I agree but the media will make sure every club in England understands that Manchester City cannot and never will be topped. Nothing we do from now can top this, a treble (speaking sincerely) is a once in a generation feat, truly.

I dont mind City winning the treble as they are a level above anyone else and didn't need luck in all 3 competitions. Fans have had to put up with Utd's treble for years but any fan watching at the time knew they was very lucky in all 3 competitions. I'm just hoping it shuts the glory hunter fans up for good now.

Such a shame the cheats have won the ultimate prize.

Will Pep f**k off now and leave?

Well he is on record recently as saying win or lose he will at City next season.

So I think he stays next season and then moves on.

Nobody is going to respect City's achievements* when they have 115 charges hanging over their heads. It has felt like the top end of football has been on hold since they got charged.

BT certainly does.

Lukaku an actual detriment to the team.

City were there for the taking, shame.

Hopefully they get stripped of everything. But I wouldn't hold my breath...

Highly doubt they get stripped of anything. At most, they get a point deduction and a transfer ban which will basically be a slap on the wrist since they'll be back to the top in no time with their squad depth and financial resources.

They're just following a script. Ever since BT got the rights to Champions League football, they have been desperate to make it seem like they have it better than ITV and SKY ever had it. Their coverage in comparison is a big step down though.

Being finally proven guilt is all the world needs tbh. Trophies will then have an asterisk.

If they are found guilty, I just don't see how a transfer ban and points deduction is sufficient. They have gained more than any club in world football during that period, the minimum punishment should be to have their titles taken from them and a demotion from the Premier League. Other clubs in the past have had similar charges, but none of them gained as much as Man City and they were still demoted.

If City are guilty, then they have seriously damaged the sport, they would have to be made an example of.

I am amazed that the media aren’t calling City out for their 115 charges and putting more pressure on them to clear it all up quicker. Instead they are following the same narrative of them being the best. 115 charges clearly suggest that something has happened. The media (and football fans) should be furious and demand this gets resolved quicker.

The more it's going ignored, the more annoyed I am becoming. Nobody shut up about our transfer ban a few years ago and we were punished before we could even get an appeal started. So come on, you've charged them with 115 breaches, when are they going to be punished?

I remember McClair had that horrible run as bad maybe even worse than Torres and could bring myself to bold him. Wasn't sure on the others though the ones I 'bolded' I recognised as the top talents of the day.

Irwin and Bruce were both top notch

It’s not just corruption and being owned by a state, it’s also luck.. how on earth did they fluke their way through those big two Inter chances.

Football is just horrible on days like this. And just like that City have wiped away anything we had over them, a treble is a once in a generation feat and they’ll always laud it over everyone. Lukaku the absolute donkey, don’t even get me started.

These European finals have been three big boots in the ball bags for Serie A.

It is not news there is one rule for most sides, and one for us. Long been agenda against us.

That's why I have maintained had Roman owned Liverpool he would have faced no Visa issues nor been forced to sell.

Koulibaly leaves Napoli and they win the league for the first time in over 30 years.

Sterling leaves City and they win the treble.

Not a coincidence for me. You get rid of poor players and upgrade and good things can happen.

City did their best to blow this final too but Lukaku was having none of that.
