Azpi as centre back with Koulibali, Fofana and Chalobah as subs???

If it is Azpi and Silva as the centre backs we have no pace whatsoever!

might be 3-3-3-1

4-3-3 with Azpi as CB doesn't make much sense

I will save my judgement of Potter, but that XI is certainly not a good start. You have £110m of CBs on the bench with Azpilicueta, who has been sh*t, starting in their place. Baffling choice.

*No disrespect to Dave*

Certainly makes me want to watch. That's a funny line up.

Initial positives:
- Havertz with a strike partner OR Mount in a midfield three
- Cucurella as left-back seems to make more sense than Cucurella as wing-back
- Pulisic deservedly not starting

Initial negatives:
- Mendy apparently injured
- Seems that at least one of Havertz and Mount are playing wide again
- Pulisic in the matchday squad

could be 4-2-2-2 as well

Havertz- Mount

Auba- Sterling

i think it's still a back 3

he is the one with the emotional intelligence degree

makes sense to play the most influential player in his first and only match in the coming 2 weeks

If Chelsea lose tonight it’s got to be Potter out. Potter can’t afford to get off to a losing start.

I think everything from a 0-3 loss to  5-1 win is possible.

Does make one think about how Potter used to deploy Solly March

that's a 4-4-3 if you count Kepa as integral part of the back 3 which he is

Van Gaal does that for example (counting the GK in the formation as in saying 1-3-4-3)

Absolutely baffling decision regarding the centre backs....

It seems we play with one CB.

Who needs center backs when your playing free flowing football ?

Well that is certainly an...interesting...first line up.

Let's see how it works out.

No surprise Milan have put away Zagreb. That loss has already put our qualification hopes on a knife edge. Would not be so bad had we lost to Milan, but the 4th seed no hopers was damaging.
