November 17, 20241 yr Caicedo’s situation is a good indication that some of our under performing players shouldn’t be given up on yet. I thought Caicedo started really week at Chelsea then looked very ordinary before coming good and showing his class. Hopefully others can follow.
December 1, 20241 yr Worked really well today but generally speaking I don't want him away from our midfield at any point during games. He's too good for that and we did struggle at times in the first half when he was locked down as a rightback.
December 1, 20241 yr Getting scary how good this bloke is. Almost more surprising than how he’s turned his form around, he’s got a bit of bite about him too. Some sort of Kante and Essien hybrid that I’m not sure the league is ready for

He was only a RB on paper recently he was always in midfield so I don’t think we missed his impact as much. But If we need someone to fill in we know he will do it without fuss.

He’s looking like the guy we saw under Di Zerbi
December 1, 20241 yr Elite player isn't he, always thought he just needed some time to get to grips with things, had some rough games last season but it's hard to think of a bad game he's had this season. This is just his standard atm.

December 1, 20241 yr Lampard was a great overall midfielder the f**k we downplaying him on just goals

Axman is suggesting Essien would have been best in class as a Midfielder all round and that the only area he would be clearly beaten is goals by Frank. I still think Frank and others edged him in certain other areas but as a complete midfielder, not many in world football could come close to the Bison

I rate pre injury Essien that highly. Imo, the best all-round midfield I have seen at the Bridge.

I still agree Edited December 2, 20241 yr by SydneyChelsea

December 2, 20241 yr I'll always love him a bit extra for rejecting Liverpool after they pulled our pants down last summer. Could very well have been Tyler Adams in midfield instead of Moises and thats scary.
December 2, 20241 yr We should keep him in the role he played yesterday if it means we can get him, Enzo and Lavia all on the pitch. Added bonus it stops us having to see Gusto stood next to Palmer in possession.
