Travesty if he doesn’t get team of the season at this rate. No one giving him his flowers. Dominate all 2024.

The " Liverpool got the better deal" crew are awfully quite since the start of the season.

Another superb display, it's ridiculous that some idiots in football still claim he's a flop.

I remember when we signed him and he started off with a few errors, even our own fans were slating him and not giving him a chance. I always insisted we needed to give him time and that he was at the time only 21!

I am so happy to see now that he is standing out and dominating the game. Shows that people should give a player time before writing them off. The reactions from our fans last season to him was just OTT. Crazy to think he has just turned 23. Exceptional once again.

The sad reality is that the media control the perception of how good a Central Midfielder is, with attackers usually the goal contributions can help build that argument however I was gobsmacked with Gary Neville's comments stating Caicedo has improved in the last few games whilst also later claiming he has only seen us play twice this season against City and Liverpool.

With the exception of a handful of games at the start of his Chelsea career I think its safe to say he has been the 2nd best player we've signed under the new regime and of all the 100m signings (Enzo, Bellingham, Rice) he is starting to look like the best.

Best midfielder in the league that’s why you don’t hear anything about him anymore.

Now he’s performing at a top level there is no story anymore!!

The honest truth is that he's been the best DM in the league after Rodri in all of 2024.

In Caicedos case rejecting Liverpool and being a DM that isn't Declan Rice is like a red rag to a bull when it comes to the British media.

It's a bit laughable really as Gravenberch has been getting all the plaudits this season and is a 'shoe in for TOTS' yet he had his worse game of the season when against Caicedo who's been great all year.

It says it all that the player who Liverpool fans are "so thankful they have instead of Caicedo" is constantly changing.

Good to see you back 🙂

Caicedo has been brilliant for most of last 12 months, my worry is that he is being overworked. Neither Pochettino or Maresca seems capable of making us less chaotic off the ball and gain some control in midfield. Every game feels like a bit of a slog. I worry that Caicedo is going to suffer burn out.

Why we need Santos back for next season.

However if Caicedo is only asked to play 1 game a week most weeks are we really saying that is going to burn him out?

Single-handedly increased the traffic here with a few loaded words and names. Needed some reassurance that I still got it.

Leaving The Office GIF

Excellent today going both ways, tied up Saka well. His progress this past year is surprising.

Immense player.  Must be great playing in a side with him - just does so much.  Want him to push on another gear now and become truly world class (which I think he will do).  You know he's crushing it when the media aren't talking about him anymore 🙂
