Disagree. But the physicality in itself was more than enough. Robson, Keane, Vieira, Essien. Rare players who could dominate a midfield on their own due to physical strength, athleticism and work rate. He was up there with the greats.

Just love the guy, and to think he just turned 23.  Amazing player.

@Andy2461 Cucurella was given a 2nd yellow after the fact.

Some were saying he was at fault for their goal, I don't agree. He was surrounded by 3 players. I blame Tosin personally. The ball was played in behind Colwill, and instead of staying on his feet and allowing Colwill to recover to help, Tosin takes himself out of the game by sliding in stupidly and missing the ball.

I am not sure he had the pace to keep up with Mbeumo so committed early.  Although I was shouting at the time, in hindsight I think you just have to hold your hands up anspd acknowledge Mbuemo's quality there. I'd like to see him in our colours tbh.

He and Micky van der Ven are probably the fastest defenders in the league, if not outright fastest players. Tosin sure doesn't show it though, it was a very bad play and very poor anticipation by him in the first instance.

Really? Do you have any statistics to back that up, because whenever I have seen him he has looked ponderously slow.

Would go as far as saying he's the one player we can't lose, even before Palmer.

He topped the EPL as recently as 22/23, and has had no serious injuries since. It's more mental, for someone so fast his anticipation is so poor he rarely reaches the speed he is capable of.

There's the issue of his pace defending wide areas but other than that he's actually the best fit for CB partner to Colwill (bar Fofana).

I think both Caicedo and Cc didn’t want to take a yellow and thought the two CBs will handle.. but Colwill was weak and Tosin lazy.

I confess I am astonished by that because he hides it extremely well. 

Don't want to go overboard but he's quite Kante-like, only with far superior vision and passing.

We are lucky to have him. Rodri may come back to take the crown but with him out Caicedo is certainly the best midfielder in the league at the moment.

Easily been the best centre midfielder in the league this season, the way he took the ball of the player last night for Jacksons goal was Makelele like. 

Gonna be fun when team of the seasons are announced and a load of imbeciles in the media try and argue for him not to be in it to save face.
