What was evident in MU game with Lavia is he is not controlling the midfield in any way. He is the muscle. Enzo is much better at making decisions with the ball. I think he would have been a better player in the first half for us in terms of attacking. He would have seen the vast space and made a better judgement with the ball than Lavia. I think Maresca used Lavia because MU is good in transition. We kept the clean sheet in open play all game which suggests he made the right choice but Enzo and Lavia are different and we are very lucjy to have them both.

Enzo would earn a ton of good will from the fans if he scored more often. That is the part of his game that is lacking in the premier league. In terms of passing he is one of the silkiest passers in the league. Problem is the league is muscle and pace first -league. Brain and passing prowess is in a small role. 

 

Lavia and Caicedo are already forming one of the best midfield partnerships in the league. The whole team ticks better when Lavia is on the pitch. Fernandez has never shown a consistent level of ability to control the flow of the game like Lavia is able to do.  My bigger issue is why Fernandez is actually getting on the pitch ahead of the likes of Chukwuemeka as i am not even totally convinced that he has more to offer than him. I am sure in the right environment Fernandez will flourish, but we've been waitign for it to be in the prem for nearly two years now and I am still yet to see anything from him that justifies the hype.

Whilst i don't dislike Gusto, if we could get a deal done with RM that we made money on for Gusto (over £30m) which allowed Acheampong to come through alongside James, i'd be up for that actually. I like Gusto as a RB, but i think he offers very little in advanced positions and nowadays these guys need to multi task.

I think Acheampong is the perfect option to replace Disasi (should we sell Chalobah) as the outside CB when the fullback inverts. 

Next tattoo this guy should get is "prick" across his forehead.

Neither of these teams can afford him. 

We need to pray for Madrid, Bayern or PSG. 

This signing is probably the worst waste of money I have ever seen here just because of the cost of it all. 
Outside of the free kick against Villa or the opening day match against Liverpool last season that’s the only highlights I can remember from him.

It hasn't been great, but we are a long way shy of the Lukaku and Kepa "value" territory. If we manage to sell him for a decent fee, which given his young age and reputation we should be able to do at some point, there is a good chance that we at least break even on his book value.

Poch got 7 goals out of him last season despite generally preferring Gallagher. Perhaps his finest achievement in club management LOL

I havent written him off fully but I just dont see anything when he plays for us. No spark, no excitement, he still looks lost whatever position he plays him.  He still gets bullied easily. i do hope he turns it around though as he was great in the world cup.

Don't think he wants to be here.. hasn't wanted to be here from the off.

Plays like he doesn't want to be here... don't know why they play him.

I think he is a decent player but he is not suited to Premier League for sure. Maresca clearly doesn't rate him as a starter and I suspect we will  offload him in the next year if even a half decent offer comes in. I can see us loaning him out in the hope that he does well elsewhere and perhaps raises the potential fee we could ask for him. Almost certainly we would have to take a loss on him at this point. Same with Mudryk.
