Looks like a player transformed in recent times. This is the Enzo we wanted to see when we signed him.

Sky showed a recent graphic of his goals/assists..wow. What a turnaround 

Starting to show what a massive upgrade he is on J5. His vision and range of passing is up there with Pirlo, Kroos and Fabregas. And a top class finish today.

Fair play Enzo I’ll hold my hand up.

He was one of the players I liked the least and wanted him gone. I never saw this coming, I’m completely taken back by it.

If he keeps this up for rest of season then he’s one of our best players easily.

Are we not better when Cucurella is the one inverting though? For me he offers a lot further forward.

Massively improved and showing the player we purchased and need to see.  Seems happier, and engaged all over the pitch.  We're also playing to his strengths, and he appears to be taking the coaching of arriving into the box.

I didn't think he was right for the Premier League but I'm delighted that he is proving me wrong. Been outstanding the last month.

I thought the same. The pace and intensity looked too much for him most weeks, he was really struggling. Now he's finding space, moving better than ever and even keeping up with the physical side when he's needed.

Fair play to Enzo Fernandez and Enzo Maresca, Maresca had the bottle to drop him and Fernandez, instead of feeling sorry for himself, has come back into the team and looks undroppable in current form.

Very, very good today.

This is the Fernandez we saw at the world cup. Maresca has done great coaching with him. 

Massively upped his game. Great to see.

Reaction would have been different had he got sent off for taking off his shirt after he scored though.

Maresca will get the best out of him, now his timings of going forward are much more logical and he gets more impact.

Why would he have been sent off ? He wasn't on a yellow when he scored ? Unless I missed something and taking off your shirt is now a straight red LOL

Seems a lot lighter on his legs and moving quicker.

Maybe his relationship was having a mental effect on him and it won’t be the first time a sportsman or woman leave a relationship and drastically improve their performance.

I thought he was on 4, so might be banned from the next game...tbh I haven't checked.

But you can see jacko telling him something afterwards...I'm guessing along the lines of "so you don't miss a game like I did" or something like that. Jacko looked soo upset when he couldn't come on at Southampton and hopefully learn't his lesson in getting stupid yellows.

 

Not only because of the above but with other bits and pieces of interactions we've seen with this squad I am really loving the squads dynamics, harmony and togetherness.

Enzo has had one yellow card all season ... so perhaps we need to start questioning his commitment LOL. He's no Dennis Wise that's for sure 🙂 

Third goal v Spurs was a beauty fresh out from the training ground.

From Cucurella getting the ball into play again to Enzo's flick on the touchline to get the ball out from a tight space, Caicedo with the nutmeg, then Palmer doing Palmer things and in the end Enzo with the finish.

Superb ball progression.

Probability always suggested once he was not playing under said manager a "miracle" resurgence wasn't going to be too far behind.

I think you would agree though we have never seen Fernandez play this well like the last couple of games for chelsea. He seems to either score or provide an assist each game.
