Pundits just love Lukaku for some weird reason, especially Ian Wright. When he moved here the hype was absurd, he was going to make us Champions, Chelsea finally have the striker they need. Can't believe how much stick he gets away with.

It's why I have a begrudging respect for Simon Jordan.

I very rarely agree with what he says but it's so refreshing seeing a pundit offer unique opinions as opposed to the usual party lines.

Some people will be happy in here our loan out striker score again even thought they got red card in 30 min.  From the last 10 games ( B inter team )when playing 90 min, Lukaku scores 12 goals and giving 5 assist. Arsenal, Inter, Newcastle, Psg, Atletico and Real Madrid are looking at him as option for next season. Outperform every striker in serie A in the last matches. Both party happy we sell at very big discount price and overpaid for new striker🙄 or loan him for 5mil.  I’m happy for him we rather give unknow striker a chance to let him comeback while he can plays in europe for other teams that known how to use a poacher.

i think he will score in the copa Italy final and takes the cup.

His goalscoring record outside of United and Chelsea has been extremely impressive, including for the national team. I think he just struggles to play with his back to goal against a packed defense.

 

It's the same reason why a signing like Ivan Toney (before his ban) probably doesn't work out. 

Voted for Kane, but I don’t think he will leave the spuds. He is proven in prem, scores when they are poor (I.e. most of the time).

Richarlison would be another we could get from them maybe.

People in here rather we lose then to have Lukaku plays for the Team. Every player have some aspects of the game they are not good at. If you focus on that then yeah he will be bad. 
for Everton and West brom : they use him as counterattacker then he is good when running in behind the defence or with speed.

with Man u Morinho he have to play with back at goal then he is less effective.Look at Mane @ Bayern or Havertz @ Chelsea playing as 9.

In Chelsea we use him to hold the ball and there is no creative midfield to pass him the ball.

Belgium Team: he have Debruyne feeding him and they let him dribble right channel ( he have a very decent cross).

Inter: he works well Lautario who got the energy to counterpress while Lukaku have to sett up the attacks or flick on.

I dont think he is comingback if you read the fans comments inhere about him.

and we just made offer 80 mil for Vlahovic and sell Lukaku for 30 mil to Arsenal. He is the same as Lukaku ( need to feed him the ball) but very injurys prone. Next season will be ( James, Ben, Kante, Vlahovic, … out for half of the season). Then we gonna blame Vlahovic for not working hard enought.

History suggests Lukaku in the team means losing, given he's only won one major title despite being in his 30s.

Given the sheer amount of negatives Lukaku brings his inclusion has to come with hard results (PL or UCL) to make up for it.

I'd rather fail watching an aesthetically pleasing player like Nkunku than fail watching Lukaku trip over the ball constantly (when he's not hiding from it) then have to listen to him and his acolytes blame everyone but him for it.

I won't provide a name so I have the ability to complain about it after regardless of who it is.

I don’t he is God. He scores but this Chelsea team is bad on many level.
*Defenders that can’t defence together or to old and slow we have to adept to the back 3 to help them instead of focussing on the attack.

*Midfields that can’t play behind the defence balls.( using Kante as AM for pressing 🤭) no creativity.

attackers that look good on paper with technical skils but are not clinical ( Sterling, Felix, Madueke,…)

* most Importently half of the squad is Injury prone and can’t stay fit for for half a season( Chillwell, Reece, Fofana, Kante, Kova, new Brazil guy,…) Vlahovic

Maybe we Could sign Lautario. He plays better with Lukaku on his side or we do a clearout on Lukaku with big loss. We can give him free to New castle. I think they can use him for Champions league campaign . Updating his stats: last 7 matches 6 goals and 5 assist but we would sell him anyways and keep using Havertz to pair with Lautaro

I think he fits the profile for Pochettino.  Leads the line, bit of nastiness and at 28 is a seasoned pro with PL experience.  I also have liked that Sulemana lad at Southampton.  He yard a good game yesterday but I have liked some of his cameos. Mitrovic, Broja and Sulemana could be a strong blend of attackers.

Last night sort of summed up Tammy Abraham's second season at Roma. Last season, long balls over the top for him to run onto. He scored goals. With Dybala onboard, Tammy has ended up in some sort of sub-sub-sub-Harry Kane role, getting deeper, trying to link up play. A role to which he just isn't suited. I suspect they'll sell him.
