Glazers bought the club with debt and rip out dividends each year.

Nothing like our operation who have made mistakes. I'd rather mistakes than an acquisition that cares only about lining pockets of the owners.

What have they actually done that is damaging to us fans? Bought some duds? Get over it.

IF you think all they have done is buy some duds  then go back to the club you support  what about no champions league  no top players wanting to join us except ones at end of there carriers collecting a last big pay day , our best players running to join other prem clubs , a reputation  in tatters  if you are so naïve to think there actions dont cause reactions

I don't mind the statement even though actions speak louder than words but we owned by a private equity firm. There are no prizes for guessing what our current owners care about either.

This is real nonsense. No champs league? We had a bad season. We signed Enzo, Mudryk, we've got every chance of signing players like Caicedo.

Which of our "best players" is running off? Mount? Anyone else?

Oh of course, they aren't saints.

But anyone who thinks our owners are worse or even the same as Glazers f**ks me off. Especially when the first reason he gives is "boohoo no champs league for me to watch".

The Glazers are poison. Our owners are just capitalists like most other owners.

Yeah, agree with that.

Did you have this same reaction to Roman when we finished 10th in 2016?

No champions league is a god save tbh, gives Pochettino a sesaon to build a squad without the extra schedule.

Nkunku is a top player and joining us, he's certainly not at the end of his career and we've just got Enzo.

Mount is the only one running to a rival and he never signed a contract under the old regime too.

Reputation? Who gives a f**k. Oh no rival fans might call us names. Guarantee we'll win a CL before any other London club does again.

Embarrassing thread tbh.

Todd Boehly, I think his heart is in the right place.

I have to say that I was praying that we had an owner who was as passionate as Roman Abramovich was, I didn't want a Glazor or Kroenke who never bother showing up to any games because they simply don't care. And I think most people here would agree with that, and even say Boehly to his credit seems very passionate about Chelsea and really wants this team to go to the next level. But unfortunately, this passion has also been Boehly's undoing, getting far too involved which has sadly made us a laughingstock over the season.

Speaking purely on the first transfer window of course, we bought a load of crap only to sack the manager right after the window ends, what the hell was that all about? Too many rash decisions that even involved changing everyone's role in the club from top to bottom.

But I'm not completely dismissing Clearlake and Boehlys knowledge or aptitude just yet. It's been a difficult season, they've gambled massively which they have felt like they needed to do. Let's give it some time first before we completely turn on them, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt before I start calling them complete idiots. And this is coming from someone who absolutely hated everything about the Graham Potter appointment. I think Pochettino is a step in the right direction, and hopefully, we see some good progress in the market, this is a MUST.

If we see some good transfer activity, I think he will quickly get some more supporters on here.

at last a sensible reply    not just saying stupid childish slur like boo hoo no champions league  the  topic was saying they should apologies  not just send a pointless message to the fans  but as usual  just get abuse  lol

Hold the owners to account by all means.

But don’t be so foolish as to compare them to the Glaziers.

Chelsea fans want our ownership to remain in place and to do a good job at rebuilding the club.

We don’t hate our owners, off course we’re massively disappointed with their progress so far, but we also appreciate the massive investments being made in the squad.

I’m confident that they will turn it around and we will get top 4 next season.

I don't think they need to apologise though, it hurts them just as much as it does us. They wasted a sh*tload of money this season, but they are hoping at least a large portion of it is an investment.

The Summer window besides Fofana has probably well and truly kicked us in the balls, the January one though remains to be seen and I'm quite hopeful.

They made some mistakes, it is what it is, if they learn from their mistakes then I don't care about any apologies. I want Boehly's passion, I don't want him getting slagged off and abused at matches by fans. But if he's now wise enough to not get too directly involved with transfers and management affairs without good knowledgeable people around him then that will definitely suffice.

I don't believe in this ownership group to take the club forward, have said this many times.

However I will say I appricate their statement was not all just about the men's team failures but they take the time to acknowledge the excellence on our women's side, especially Emma and Sam. Kudos to them for that.

Jesus wept, Someone wants the owners to come out and apologise for spending nearly 600 million Quid on players.

Can we change the name of the thread to "entitled fans post here and moan here?"

Spending that amount of money on the club is only any good if it was spent wisely. Billionaires become so as they aren’t afraid to fail, many have failed projects under their belts on the road to being rich. The question is will this project go on to be a success?

To quote Henry Ford ‘Failure is the opportunity to start again, only more intelligently’

Bad news resonates deeper than good news. I’d wager that most club forums receive more traffic after a loss than a victory. I’ve been as guilty as anyone over the years of going to games and effing and blinding like f**k, sometimes at our own players, probably as a way of letting of steam.

I think it’s human nature to complain, however this prolonged moan up aimed at well intentioned however naive owners says more about the entitlement of some fans that it does about Boehy and co.

Roman did and sold the club to them... Change isn't bad mate. Doing things differently aint bad either. So long as we're competative and get to domestic cup finals, Im a happy fan. I think the relentless pursuit of silverware in the previous regime has damaged us fans somewhat. Football is cyclical, we'll get back up on top someday, perhaps soon, but I want entertainment and fun on match days and hear the stadium chants in full swing. Not fans moaning about this or that. Think we've lost the kick of enjoying watching good fun flowing football and the results that come with it.

FYI Chelsea Women have once again qualified for the Champions League so the ‘no Champions League’ squinny is a massive load of bollocks.

Which is one thing you won't see in Chelsea's Champions league campaign next season. No, no, not a bollock in sight.
