Interesting game between Saudi Arabia and United. Real shame that we had to sell Livermento. He would have had enough games with Chilwell being constantly injured.

We definitely dodged a bullet with Onana

With our recent transfer business, would it have made a difference if one more had hit us?

Newcastle completely dominated that game against United. One of the most one sided 1-0 wins you will see. United are awful, lazy and full of egos. If Rashford played for Chelsea, I would want him sold, even if he was an academy player. The guy doesn't even try. Southgate will keep picking him for England too. He gets way too much protection because he is English.

It feels like he gets picked for his reputation off the pitch rather than what he does on it.

If Liverpool are on their game, they will destroy them in a few weeks. We should be doing the same, but we gift teams goals and bottle it almost every chance we get.

I'm jealous of Newcastle right now. Atmosphere at the stadium is fantastic and the players give everything. They play really good pass and move football at a high tempo. They aren't doing it with super star big money signings either, they are just being really well coached. Everybody is giving 100% in every game. It makes me question why Pochettino isn't getting that out of our players. We don't look well coached, our players look like they lack discipline.

Rashford keep getting picked because he is their best attacker. It is that simple.

You want to play fast , it is very simple. Don't sign unathletic player.

Ten Hag is a very good case of why backing your manager is not always the best idea.

Difference is, Ten Hag has been there for a season and half almost. At this point if Utd haven't improved and instead regressed then that's not a good sign.

Watching arsenal play of course the most standout player is Saka who is already a superstar but Declan rice is just so good.

We could have had Rice 2/3 seasons ago, but Chelsea like sitting on their hands and not striking in the market while the iron is hot.

To be fair, Newcastle haven't had the upheaval Chelsea have with change of managers, various signings needing to settle in, key injuries etc. Howe has also been given the chance at Newcastle. You cannot expect instant results with the amount of change at Chelsea over the last season and half.

Good thing those fans yelling at Todd at thr Bridge put us off signing Gordon, we might have missed out on Madueke or Mudryk...

Shows how stupid fans are. Loads didn't want him, simply because he was English and signing from Everton. If he was Spanish from Real Betis they would have been loving it.

Idiots.

I think the only chance we got lamp 2nd season. West Ham wanted 100m and we didn’t want to pay

Aye fans certainly can be, we have our own fair share of idiots.

Especially ones who names begin with A, I can vouch for that!

On St.James park when the Geordies are on it, and they often are these days, there is no more hostile atmosphere in England. Their home support is class.

Let's not pretend that if we'd signed Gordon, he wouldn't be just as sh*t as the rest we've signed. You come into a team in good spirits and used to winning, it's much easier than coming into a team who have won 8 games in the last full season of games.

I wasn't against the Gordon signing, I didn't really watch him so had no idea. But people think it's easy coming into this Chelsea team and putting in a performance. There's hardly any experience heads here and we're all over the place at the moment. That's why I think Cole Palmer deserves a lot of credit for how well he's done.
