November 4, 20241 yr Been carrying us on his back for nearly 18 months. Lot of weight on those knees. Martinez just finished one off.

Martinez, as dangerous as he caught him, thanks god did not make full contact with Palmer. Had he connected his whole studs through the knee then it could be serious. I think it is a case of swelling and he will hopefully be fine for Sunday.
November 4, 20241 yr Martinez is a dirty player has always been .. epl bent resettled a decision since it was close to full time.. happens all the time.. incompetence to the fore front agsin

November 4, 20241 yr But this is a player who has said 'Sometimes I want to kill' (when he is on the pitch, outclassed, naturally). Why is he allowed to get away with that, when he is clearly a vicious animal - no ability to speak of, but loads of aggression?

Martinez tries to hide his physical deficiencies by try to compensate by being over agressive.. dirty player.. I wish we had a Roy Keane that dished out to him when he comes to the bridge. November 5, 20241 yr Palmer did not take part in training today. Others who won't play on Thursday, like Fofana, Lavia, etc did.
November 5, 20241 yr Is it just me or is Palmer not being played in his most effective position? I thought him and Noni down the left worked well... Hope we're not going to piss him off. I'm sure any other team in the world be happy to have him and play him where he wants.

I would guess Cole would care more about regular CL football and a chance to win trophies. Up to us to build a side like that.

November 6, 20241 yr I’ve just seen on FB that he’s been ruled out for three weeks from that c**t Martinez’s tackle, is this true?
November 6, 20241 yr Ridiculous that he didn't get a red card, and as expected barely anyone in the media was outraged by it. Imagine that was an arsenal or Liverpool player getting booted on the knee.

Where on earth are they pulling out 3 weeks? Maresca said he didn't train this week because he's nursing the injury. They hope he can train today.

He could be totally fine mind, and Maresca is simply feeding the media with uncertainty for Arteta’s prep.

Imagine that was an arsenal or Liverpool player getting booted on the knee. Media! Mate, our own supporters were too busy moaning at Jackson for getting the yellow for standing up for palmer than actually blaming martinez or the ref. Check the match thread! That's why I ain't on here during the games and only come on afterwards. There's an old foreign proverb about loyalty I know... My brother and I vs my cousin; but my cousin and I vs a stranger. We are all different but to me I just thought that was just sad. And you're right gooners and dipper fans would have been all over the ref and martinez! Not jacko for standing up for him, although he took it too far and got a yellow. That's why I said in my previous post reece should have done it and not jacko, as captain he can get away with more against the ref.

I saw it on FB, which is not very trustworthy, but I thought that he didn’t train today as from the Chelsea official web?
November 7, 20241 yr He’s had a scan ✅ Maresca hopeful he’ll be fit for the weekend ✅ Sounds like an impact injury rather than anything worse. Give him a crutch and he’ll still be the best footballer on the pitch.
