The Premier League need to redesign their so called trophies, those things are hideous. Player of the month, goal of the month, player of the season, they're really ugly and all look the same.

Hopefully he now wins the PFA young player of the year award. He needs a nice looking trophy to sit alongside all of those bottles of shampoo.

Won't be an issue. There's a 12 year in Brazil who's just earned to nickname Palmerinho. He's set to join us in 2031.

They've probably known for a while. I will be surprised if this has just been sprung on them.

Why, because the manager that didnt want him has left? Hes probably quite happy about now.

Genuinely this sentiment really annoys me. And it keeps being spouted. 

Palmer is under contract. A long contract. 

If he wants to go to real or city then they will need to pay 125m+

He can't just leave because he's unhappy.

And if they pay it do you trust this lot to reinvest that money wisely with Brazilian kids? 
I don’t see him extending this contract in the next first years until things settle down.

Well I imagine we'd buy players like gusto, Nkunku, Jackson, Madueke, Caicedo, Enzo or you know, the next Cole palmer. 

Some people need to get a grip, Palmer wont leave just because Poch has gone, it almost never actually happens in football. They will be sad hes leaving, then first day of training under the new manager they move on and get on with it.

I can’t figure out if you’re trying to give examples of money well invested or not.

At this moment in time you could definitely see it as an example money not all that well invested.

Waiting for the PR brief that Cole would love to work with Enzo Maresca again.

Id say Enzo and Caicedo aside, all of the above have held or increased their value. And all add value to our team.

Pretty fair. Certainly what we paid for Enzo and Caicedo and their largely underwhelming contributions to date makes them candidates for being sold at a loss. The others combined would likely retain their value and most of them have played well at times.

The owners still have a lot to do if they think they’re going to make a profit out of buying and selling footballers - especially if they want to combine it with winning stuff.

Caicedo hasn't been underwhelming. 

They also aren't planning on making a profit on Caicedo or Enzo. They are part of our squad for the foreseeable. Like Palmer.

Yes. And since then he's not been. And he's still only 22. 

It's all a bit irrelevant, the guy I was replying to was moaning that if we sold Palmer we would only end up spending it on Brazilian teenagers.
