It's all a bit irrelevant, the guy I was replying to was moaning that if we sold Palmer we would only end up spending it on Brazilian teenagers. TBH if Paez and Estevao are even half as good as they're expected to be selling Palmer in 2028 could pocket us a fortune. Quite like the business model we seem to be heading in. More Paez's and less Moreira's though pls.

June 4, 20242 yr Scored his first goal for England and it was probably the worst penalty I have seen him take so far.

Understandably. Had a decent game. Has to adjust to not having the freedom to do his own thing as he does at Chelsea.
June 4, 20242 yr Not a great game to watch last night although Palmer still showed great touches now and again. Great that he is involved in the Euro's, but part of me wishes he could just go and have a holiday now and relax. Been a long season for the lad and we cannot afford for him to suffer any burn out or get a niggly injury.
June 4, 20242 yr I would like to see him in Euro's. He is a player and players like to play. He also needs to step up to everything in his career so why not start in the biggest stage. I am sure he is better off with the national team rather than some island somewhere partying.
June 4, 20242 yr Was played centrally behind the striker last night, its like southgate has never seen him play for us, complete waste of time. Play him wide right you clown.
June 12, 20242 yr Just reading a laughable piece on Arsenal maybe readying an 80 million bid for Cold Palmer🤣🤣🤣

Anyone in England who wanted to buy him would have to pay £30 million more than that.

Problem is Harry Kane often plays like a no. 10 and doesn't run the line to create space like Nico Jackson does.

Englands No.10 needs to be able to go into centre forward as Kane drops out as you say, and Cole has shown he has no idea how to play that position. Complete waste of his skills.

June 13, 20242 yr Chances are he’ll start as sub. Goal behind, what a truly fantastic option. I’m Chelsea and biased, but think the sky’s the limit with kid

First tournament ever going into as favourites- wonder if we’d be favourites overseas if placing a bet?- bookies edging their bets because of patriotic backing….anyway tournament football in the summer…walking down to the pub in a pair or shorts to watch a game of football- absolutely love ❤️ it

Palmer/Noni for the right wing is perfect and we really should invest whatever funds we have elsewhere. Olise is a cracking player and probably will be great for us though, dont get me wrong - but putting Palmer in that 8’ means he has to more defensive work which I feel is a bit of a waste of his talents. Maybe there’s a different plan for the two of them though, we’ll see
