That occurred this morning whilst reading yesterday match report in The Mail on Sunday. The reporter is Kieran Gill. ” Since December 4th, Palmer has created 32 chances in the Premier League, more than any other player in any of Europes Elite Divisions. However none of those have been have been converted by his team mates, leaving him with zero assists. It is an extraordinary statistic, and one which emphasises their wastefulness in front of goal” Good one @Timmy Elms

City sold him because he didn't fit with Pep's tactics. We managed to get the best out of him last season under Poch, and then we hired a manager that is a protege of Pep. So it probably isn't surprising that Cole's effectiveness has started to diminish. We should be building the team and tactics around him

May be based on the players available on the right side. Maresca's system requires the wingers to help out defensively and also requires the full backs to be effective at inverting. Cucurella seems to do well in this role on the left. Not sure we have managed similar effectiveness on the right yet.
