He looked totally dejected and disinterested TBH...certainly not as upbeat as he has been in the past.  Wouldn't surprise if he got a rollocking from the Board in regards to the dismal displays and told at the same time....he ain't getting anymore help this season so sort this mess out with the players you have.

One rumour I heard doing the rounds is he requested an experienced short term striker in the window and to keep Broja and he get neither.

If you back the coach to go on and the coach is asking for something you try to help him. So I call that story bullsh*t.

A busy day tomorrow. A few pints in the pub before heading off to the Bridge. After the game against Wolves will head off to Kingsmeadow to see the Women play Everton. What chances on a Blues double. Last time I saw two Chelsea teams play on the same day was a few years back when one of the youth teams played a Juventus youth side at Brentford's old ground Griffin Park and then up to the Bridge to watch the men's team. Can't remember the year and who we played at the Bridge. It's a blur after all the years.

Gusto and Chilwell start - proper full backs rather than this obsession with playing centre backs out of position.

I’d be fine with that team, or with Sterling for muddy or with playing nkunku at left wing for the first 55

I guess it is more of a 4-1-3-2 if anything - with Enzo playing deeper and the other in movement in flux.  All players with good feet and able to hold on to the ball.  Against Liverpool in the EFL i would employ Caicedo instead of Jackson and essentially park the bus and hope to score a goal at some point. Liverpool will over run us again unless we can stifle them in midfield.
