I rate Alfie too but he is on a season long loan. he won't be returning until the summer. We should absolutely be using Acheampong more though. We will learn nothing new from playing the likes of Disasi at RB.

Aye I would not bring Alfie back. His loan is working out well for him.

Everything worked better when Cucarella dropped into midfield with Caicedo, him being pushed higher up the field, leaves Caicedo alone again like earlier on. A 1 man midfield just cannot work, even prime Kante couldn't cope with that.

That would be worth missing out on top 4 to get, but I don't think Winstanley and Stewart will be in any danger, unfortunately.

Though I guess no CL money and that killing the shirt sponsor deal, perhaps it could happen, depending on if we tank in the CWC.

Problem is even if they do get the chop is still this ownership group who pick the replacements, and they get things wrong almost all the time.

Until we are shot of these owners I don't think we make it back to the top table.

Which is weird cause since the beginning he was always very confident, saying the right things but the last couple of weeks he has this defeatist mentality? Did something happened behind the scenes, what a change of tune all of the sudden.

Maybe the reports about no reinforcement signings in Janaury are true.

I haven't watched it all yet, is there any evidence of where he downplayed top 4.
