Bad feeling ahead of tomorrow now.

I won't lay in to the team though, unless we get whooped. Better Chelsea sides that the one we have now have failed to win at Goodison. Is just one of those things.

Nah that was a joke.

The truth is just as bad, Chris Kavanagh.

On the plus side if I am right about Spurs vs Pool we still get to laugh at Spurs.

Saka out 6 weeks minimum.

23,000 minutes if football at the age of 23 is nuts. Lad will peak at 27 at this rate.

Sterling 2.0

Grealish doesn’t get enough criticism for his lack of end product. £100m.

The media were on Enzo and Caicedo's back week in and week out despite them both being new to the PL but they've said nothing about Grealish for years despite him just coasting on City's success since ever joining despite being a complete shell of the player he was at Villa.

Haven't been watching CL and LC as much so didn't realize it was this bad.

It’s reminiscent to our 15/16 collapse. They need a complete rebuild.

Selling Palmer is looking more and more like a mistake with each day. He easily could have helped replace their ageing team. It's very reminiscent of us selling Salah and De Bruyne back then.

I'm glad Maresca at least lets Palmer rest in our mid-week games. Can't make the same mistakes.

The article about Tino Anjorin on the BBC website is a good eye opener into what these young lads can (or more pertinently can't !) handle physically. The body is simply not mature enough to cope with the top-level sporting demands made on it at age 17-22 ... same thing observable in other sports. In tennis, for example, the young Andy Murray was always getting injured until he did the work to build his stamina and endurance, which took time. Ditto currently with Jack Draper. Our approach in managing the minutes for our young players is absolutely spot on.

Well we will know before their game if that is possible.

Agreed, is why young English players often burn out so early.

I don't think it will affect Arsenal too much. Now if Odeegard was to get injured for 6 or more weeks again... different story.

They’ve lost their best player for more than a month in a very tight & congested schedule. What are you talking about?

Saka is a very good player. I am not debating that.

I just beleive they will have the depth to cover his absence better than they did for Odergard, who for me is their best player and not replaceable.

How are we the only club in the league that’s sussed out Arsenal’s set piece bo**ocks?

Monaco showed how to defend Arsenals corners and im surprised no PL club has tried it, stick 3 or 4 players on the half way line and they have to leave 4 or 5 back

Barcelona should have put at least 6 past Atletico last night, but what a greater pleasure than to watch that miserable club lose in the 97th minute against Simeone's smash and grab, rugby tactics??? The Spanish version of Northampton Saints doing us all proud.

Some clubs are too scared.

As with last week, when Pool and Arsenal dropped points and we took advantage, it is obvious Pool are beating Spurs to reclaim their gap over Arsenal and extend theirs over us.

1 point ahead, 2 in hand, means they are effectively 7 points ahead.
