Good grief we really got unlucky to play City so early.

Even I had no belief in that jinx I posted on the last page.

Ah well @RMH means we are well and truly screwed tonight.

Going to be a ugly batting 2-4.

100% if we play them now I believe we win.

Anyone else read Pep say Chelsea has the luxury of having a big squad and being able to rotate? City don’t?

Oh I’m sorry. Aren’t you the manager that spent almost 1 billion on a new defence?

And the manager that bragged to everyone about his preference for a small squad while pointing fingers at Potter's inflated dressing room

Keep them coming! A bit scary at the end but we got it done. We’ve broken the Brentford spell.

Apparently he was crying at the end of today's match.

I think the guy is a nutcase. Not the manager I would want in charge of my team when things are getting tough. Every time they make a mistake, he's trying to claw his face off instead of coaching. Doesn't even try to bring calmness to his side when they are self destructing, he just joins them.

He is every bit as narcissistic as Mourinho, perhaps even a lot more so. Most of Mourinho's self-centredness is very much an act for the cameras.

City's downfall is unbelievable. Almost reminds me of our 2015/16 season campaign.

And all the while Pep is trying to shoulder the blame and protect his players, he cuts such a sad figure in an interview these days. Tragic 😂

Atrocious weekend for Leicester:

- Lost dismally away at Newcastle ("we were lucky it was only four" according to my mate who went up there, presumably suffering from oxygen deprivation)
- Ipswich won
- Palace won
- Everton got an unlikely point away at Arsenal
- Southampton finally sacked their idiot manager who was the cause of quite a lot of their problems.
- Forest won again to go fourth.

Why do I have the feeling that work will be quiet today?

I saw news that united is going to sell Rashford.

It is easy to say sell but who will buy him? He is probably on 350/400 k a week. Who will pay this money?

They sold Sancho to us only for 25 because nobody want to buy Sancho, not because Sancho is a bad player, it is because he is on 250k a week.

The football schedule is ridiculous and hard to keep up with. Champions League doesn't return until late January, Conference League league phase ends tomorrow, December and January is completely packed, and the Super League, now called the Unify League, is back in the news 🥴

After tomorrow, we don't play Conference League again until March.

Liverpool & Arsenal have 2 more Champions League matches in January they have to squish in. Another match for the league cup too if they make it to the next round.

I said a few weeks ago that it's probably for the best that we are in the Conference League and not the Champions League this season, and I stick by that. The Club World Cup on top of all of the Champions League would have been tough.
