January 14, 20251 yr The rematch from our second league game, what a match, and second half, that was for us. Don't think we will be scoring 6 this time, just call it a feeling.
January 14, 20251 yr I don't think it's rocket science to see the best chance of improving 1. Play Caciedo where he should play 2. Play Lavia where he should play 3. Play James where he should play 4. Sit Enzo where he should sit 5. Sit Madueke beside him 5. Try Felix from the start
January 14, 20251 yr Author Sanchez James Acheampong Colwill Cucurella Caicedo Lavia Palmer Felix Jackson Guiu
January 15, 20251 yr Author One thing I am really looking forward to is seeing how Cunha gets on both vs Newcastle away, and their well drilled defence, and against our less well drilled defence. Guy has been linked to Arsenal, Liverpool, United, City and us as well. So just how good is he?

January 16, 20251 yr I was hoping he was still banned he is a top prospect, Wolves are a different team when he plays.

January 17, 20251 yr Watched Wolves a few times this season and they are absolutely piss poor. Anything less than 3 points would be a disaster. 4-0 to Chels and I’m not expecting us to play well. Thats how sh*te they are.
January 17, 20251 yr I have two wishes for the genie in the dugout. 1. Stop giving the team sedatives at half time 2. Make subs when things start to go awry. Regarding last point: reminds me of Sarri's like-to-like subs . Worst quality I can imagine in a manager is doing the same thing over and over when it's obviously not working. Unyieldingly principled is the opposite of proactive and creative, and if Maresca does not change this I'll guarantee the fanbase starts turning on him.
January 17, 20251 yr All I know is this team is so much better with Lavia in it. So that’s the lineup.

His last chance to show Maresca what he’s been missing, that’s if he’s not past caring by now.

Yeah I mean if he does not care can play Sancho there, he can play anywhere across the 3 behind the striker. Either way is no real loss in 3 of those players cases. Colwill has been poor of late, of we had better options he would have a few games out on merit. Enzo has been a passenger, basically leaving Caicedo on his own anyways so Caicedo actually playing on his own is just the same anyways. Lavia being out? Who would have thought? Have to plan on him being out most games. First half Cole Palmer is of course a big miss, but of late second half Cole Palmer has been knackered for some reason. Maybe had Maresca taken him off rather than leaving the lad on tired he may not have picked up this knock. Either way is Wolves, they are sh*t, so whoever plays we should win and win well. Just like we should have vs the last 5 teams we played as, apart from Bournemouth, the other 4 are all sh*t too.
January 18, 20251 yr The type of team we really want to play now, they got very little to offer at both ends of the field. Provided they have a couple of good players in the team, but overall they are pretty horrible and awfully low on confidence. Score an early goal and set the tone, may just get the comfortable win we crave for.

January 18, 20251 yr Win this; we remain in the hunt for top 4. Lose or draw and I think we'll struggle to make it. Massive game for Maresca to show he can turn the slide around.

It's definitely in our hands to make Top 4, but we need to start beating all these bottom feeders (if we had the same record as Liverpool in games against the bottom six, we'd only be one point behind them right now !)
January 18, 20251 yr Author So much negativity. No Palmer is no problem. Chelsea 5-1 Wolves, Jackson 14. That's a preview.
