We sign too many strikers that feel sorry for themselves. Strikers need to be the most ruthless players in the team and believe they are the best.

    If maresca loses or daws this game any goodwill he has with the fans is gone. No excuses. Newcastle dropped points, arsenal dropped points. If Chelsea doesn’t win this game any hopes of top 4 will be evaporated.

    I'm as frustrated by Jackson up front as anyone but Guiu is nowhere near ready for this level of football and Nkunku has totally checked out.  

    I can't see Chalobah coming straight in but I'd have no problem with it.  I also doubt we will start James yet so maybe Gusto gets another chance. 

    No f**king made up right backs though.

    Must win game.  Put all this nonsense of the last month behind us and get back on it.  Expecting a physical game, lots of free kicks and a Wolves midfield that will try and impose.

    We've got to take our chances - simple as.  Score 3 and we win. 

    Guessing Maresca will start with Sanchez in goal and Jackson up front.

    There was talk that both palmer & Colwill were struggling with niggles - do we know if they're playing? With Palmer we should win but if he's missing, I think this could be further disappointment.

    Maresca said, earlier in the season, he would not risk a player carrying a slight injury or issue for the sake of one game.

    If he sticks to those words then all of Enzo, Lavia, Colwill and Palmer should miss out as he reported to us that each of them missed training on Friday and have slight issues.

    First team squad of 34 and we are struggling for a midfield if Enzo and Lavia are both confirmed out.

    Assuming we don't play Casadei as he is about to be transferred, or Chukwuemeka because we want him to leave, or KDH because he is still out with his mystery illness/injury, I guess that means we will have to bring in someone like Dyer or Rak-Sakyi from the Academy to play alongside Caicedo ?

    This is the risk when you sign players with chronic injuries like Lavia. He certainly has potential when he is fit but we only see him a few times a season. I would be inclined to move him on in the summer. For today I would prefer to see Chuky start if we have these players out. Whether or not he is in the shop window he is at least a midfielder who has shown some ability. Failing that could Veiga play in the middle?

    Aye we could, Rak-Sakyi would be in pole position if we do.

    Or we could go with Caicedo and have Trev invert from right back to midfield. He played DM for a season while on loan in France so is also possible.
