Holy sh*t, some actual positives to take away.

- We won
- Back in the top four
- We scored in the second half
- We didn't concede in the second half
- We scored again in the second half
- Big Trev came back and put in a top performance after about five minutes back at the club, further cementing Winstanley and Stewart in the pantheon of morons
- I want to say something nice about Reece but feel like it would be a jinx resulting in six games out with ego strain.

Welcome back Trev. MOTM by a mile plus should have had a goal if Noni didn't nick it off him.

Reece was great, but superb trumps great today, so take a bow Trevoh Chalobah. 

Honourable mention to Tosin and KDH who were both good, but a level below the Cobham boys.

 

Has to be Chalobah.  Based purely on performance I'd say James ran him close but,  once you add in the fact he just returned to the squad after picking up his lunch from Greggs at midday yet looked like he had never been away, he edges it. 

Would have been James. But... In TC i do believe. 

I wouldn't normally comment on this in order not to influence the vote, but you should all know that 15 minutes after full-time in his first game back, Trev already has the same number of votes this season as Disasi, Badiashile, Colwill and Fofana put together.

That must be a mistake.... @Argoand @timetowastehave basically said he is sh*t and not good enough to even be our 5th choice CB...

Yeah fairs, almost as bad as who are saying Maresca isn't good enough.

Well he's probably gone above the Monaco legion of doom. But yeah I always liked Chalobah's attitude and love for the club, I just don't rate him as a player that should start for us, but as things stand with Fofana out for the rest of the season he should get quite a few starts. If he plays like he did today though I'd have no qualms with him starting, maybe that loan at palace did him some good.

Chalobah and Reece best players on the pitch. Honourable mention to Tosin who I think never does anything wrong when he plays and popped up with another goal.

I’ll go this far and say we wouldn’t win the game if it wasn’t for Chalobah.

If we didn’t recall him, Disasi would have been starting and we’d be 3-1 down by HT.
