IT LOOKS LIKE REAL BETIS OR HEIDENHEIM IN THE NEXT ROUND

IF IT'S BETIS I THINK WITH NO STRIKER WE ARE OUT

I had a brief look last night at our potential opposition. Real Betis took a while to get going but at 3-0 after the first leg, should go through. Anthony (ex manu) scored a decent goal. Heidenheim arent special weve already beaten them and i think it will be a close call v Copenhagen who look slightly better but are a goal down after first leg.

Either way we hopefully should have enough to beat them with goals from midfield 😉

Betis would probably be the toughest option of those teams, only based on their European pedigree. But I agree, even on our run of poor form, we should be good enough to go into these games with some confidence.

How does the seeding for this draw actually work? We being number 1 seed are to get 18th or 15th seeds, but 6th can get 21st seed and 8th can get 23rd?

I wanted another made up team that I can't pronounce. Worried we might not make the next round now.

Good draw for us.

Copenhagen finished 18th in the League phase with a negative goal difference.

Then likely have Legia Warsaw in the QF, and I fancy Rapid Vienna to make it to the SF in the bottom quarter of the draw.

Much rather have faced Betis or Fiorentina before the final, defeat in a final of this nature would be beyond embarrassing and scar this group for life.

It's come to this. We're relieved to get in the easy half of the draw in the bloody Europa Conference League. . 😂

Well, when you look at the 12 players that played >50% of our League stage minutes, 7 of them are no longer available for various reasons, so that's tempered my optimism a tad LOL.

Casadei sold, Disasi, Veiga and Felix all loaned, Mudryk suspended, and Badiashile and Guiu are injured 😎

Hi, i’m a Betis supporter. The other day, I stopped by the forum to see what you all thought, and I found it amusing that you were even slightly concerned about facing us.

I’ve registered to let you know that Betis is a naturally losing team that almost never manages to compete with dignity in Europe when moments of pressure and difficulty arrive.

For Betis to reach the final would already be a miracle, but if we do face each other, fear or respect should be the last things on your mind, honestly.

The match we won against Mourinho's Chelsea in the Champions League (2005/2006) is still remembered as a historic milestone, almost as if it were a title. That's the level, just so you get an idea of our history in these competitions xD

Cheers.

We have Jacko, Muddy, Noni & Felix missing for these KOs, all contributed goals in Group . Palmer should of course be put back in the squad along w Reece. Based upon our current form I'm not confident at all of guaranteed progression. But winning it looks increasingly likely our only route back into Europe next season so fingers crossed!

Was in Copehangen when they beat the Krauts in the Euros way back in 92, what a party !! Great city, great beer, hash for sale on a 'hippy' island in the harbor, the people are fantastic, especially the birds 😉
