Tyrique George deserves to start the next 2 games minimum ahead of one of Neto & Sancho IMO, did more in his lil cameo than the other 2. Might be the rocket both need up their backsides.

Will still watch the game of course (as the saying goes, it's the hope that kills you), but if it all goes wrong early, at least have the option of putting on the rugby - Scotland v England.

Fair play to all the travelling CFC supporters who will give up their Saturday to follow the team when they are playing as badly as they are currently. They at least deserve a much better performance this time around - we can but hope.

Rumours on twitter that Maresca has been training with overlapping full backs and a double pivot. I'm optimistic but i'm sure its bo**ocks.

I’d favor a back 3 but if we are going to persist with the same formation I’d put Neto up top, Palmer RW, KDH in midfield.

The risk to us is the same as City had against Real Medrid balls over the top as our defenders go high to close down the opposition.

Could be a good day for Watkins or Rashford.

Of course I'm hoping we stuff them though a draw would not be the worst result just now,

As dire as we are right now watching Chelsea is still preferable to watching 30 fat public schoolboys chasing an egg.

My hope is that Villa score an OG or two otherwise I'm not sure our guys will score.

I am going out to dinner with the fam because if I don’t I know I will watch it. This is deliberate.

So, Jackson is out until April. Maybe the rest of the season. We do not have a proper solo striker, and yet we shall persist with a formation that requires a solo striker. Nkunku is not the player for this formation. In fact, Mr.Felix would have been better as a no.9. Maybe even Cole Palmer? Or maybe Enzo changes the formation? (Enzo will not change).
