I am a firm believer in the idea that if the goal is good enough you should overlook a slight offside. What the f**k is football even for?

It’s CLEARLY neither of those so it’s OBVIOUS the on field decision stands.

VAR is an absolute shambles.

There is no clear and obvious rule for offside. It either is or isn't.

That doesn’t apply to offsides. It’s either off or on.

At some point, VAR officials will learn the concept of "margin of error". There is no way to know at the moment that ball was kicked if that was offside or not from TV images. They really need to add a margin of error line where it favours the attacker if it's on that line.

Taking the fcking piss ruling that out if it’s that close give the benefit to the attacker absolute kill joys it’s not affected the goal at all

Liverpool would have been given that

Without any doubt whatsoever and it’s sad but true
