Why would he come to a mediocre club run by fools when there will be clubs throughout Europe available to him as a free agent. Usual bollox again.

He probabaly won't fit into the wage structure as a free agent anyway.

How many minutes is Nkunku going to get? Shop window for a few of these I think.

I think not pursuing Mike is a good decision. He's like a lateral move instead of pushing the envelope like trusting someone like Petrovic to make the step up.

Sky reporting we’ve reopened interest with Jorgensen wanting to leave.

Not for me. Signing a 30yr old goalie who has never played in the PL even on a free is too risky. The PL is becoming a bit direct with the classic No 9, long throws and corner routines, he might end up struggling. Take Donnarumma who is a mountain of a goalie, and some City fans will tell you he needs to be more physical and controlling of his box.

Penders with a couple of near catastrophes last night.

I would agree if we are content on using our goalkeepers for what they are good at. As a shot stopping, big presence, commanding keeper Sanchez is one of the best around and Penders has scope to be. Play close, tippy tap triangles in and around the box and disasters will continue.

But this is what I don't get. Play Gusto as a CF and Delap as a wing back and who gets the pelters? The players or the idiot manager for playing players out of their comfort zones. Why is it that the keepers then get pelters for it.

Remember Maresca's perfect goalkeeper, Hermandson. Played as a sweeper for Leicester. Can't even get in the West Ham side because he is pretty crap at all other parts of goalkeeping. Rosenior, the moron, seems intent in undermining Penders developing reputation by employing the same tactics.

Yes exactly, cant blame Penders for how he's being utilised. And I can't blame Sanchez for how he was utilised.

No point in dipping into the market for a goalkeeper who looks good but would end up being used differently!

Both are good enough, Sanchez is a good enough keeper for me. I think he is incredibly underrated because of his errors.

It's very rare where the opposition have worked a goal or had a decent shot and we have all agreed Sanchez could have done better. As a goalkeeper he is up there with the best around. His weakness has always been with close one and two touch passing and the appreciation of diminishing space. This will be the case with 90% of all keepers, or else they'd have been outfield players on outfield money.

Maintaining furtive, covetous glances at the likes of Maignan who plays in a non pressing, walking league has little credence in my opinion. Onana beware.

And I know I'm putting different goalie stuff in one place, but if you told me to leave my car unlocked, walk to the end of my road and then give my car keys to my son, who then passes the keys to a mate, who fumbles them only for some rascal to nip in grab the keys and make off with my car. In what fking dimension would that be my error. Hoddle and idiot commentator last night, have a word with yourselves.

Penders gets a pass on any idiocy dreamed up by the text book classroom oaf Rosenior. Also, whilst I'm at it, Italian weave, natty ensembles, snoods and flat caps on the touchline is up there with McLarens brolly. Sorry, Liam Rosenior, Scott Parker, Paul Tidsdale. Not having any of you.
