I wasn’t that keen when we were first linked but having watched a couple of games and seeing how Maresca played around with tactics a bit more in the club World Cup I really want him. A touchline winger (gittens or Neto) with Simons and palmer playing as “outside” 10s and one of the full backs offering width on the other side sounds exciting. Estevao looks like he can play in any of the 3 positions behind the striker as well so those 5 could offer flexibility and mean that our attack isn’t going to be predictable.

    Same. And this was always second choice to Morgan Rogers who I think is more versatile. Bob Hope chance of getting Rogers or Simons. Simple Jack will be our only signing and this will be at the expense of George

    Has Fabrizio Romano said anything regarding Manchester City trying to hijack this transfer?
    If not, and his latest update regarding Simons is about Chelsea trying to get him with a potentional Nkuku swap I'd say Chelsea will get it done.

    The guy puts the same video out 3 times a day. Hes got 3000 updates on the Garnacho deal saying the same bloody thing. Now Baleba is get the Utd fans frothing every video now has a Baleba section saying the same bloody thing. If either of these deals goes through or breaks down he’ll still be seen as some kind of genius either way, he can’t lose.

    I bet his mum is the one texting him during videos to make it look like there’s loads of activity. Plonker.

    I'm not really excited about the potential of Garnacho (tho am open if he comes cheap enough)

    That said, i think we need another left wing runner option and a centre half ahead of another CAM/10

    Can't trust that league at all. Simons could be yet another Havertz and Werner. Wirtz looked awful in his first game for Liverpool too. They're too lightweight in that league.

    Their whole 50+1 policy on club ownership and their condescending view towards billionaire owners just rubs me the wrong way when their whole league is monopolized for Bayern.
