My god Tottenham are hanging on but i feel as soon as Arsenal score the flood gates will open

wise words.

Djed Spence encapsulates everything that Tottenham are. Superficially looks like he is skillful and athletic, but powder puff, sh*t decision making and then just gives up.

None of them pass to each. They have always got to take people on and run with the ball, only to inevitably get mugged off.

That fourth goal was prime Tottenham. Spence surrounded by Spurs players, fking about with the ball for no reason rather than passing out. Gets comfortably dispossessed and then two quick balls and it's in the back if Spurs' net.

Use it to take me back to watching football in the eighties.

As much as I enjoyed following us through the 80s, if I wanted to be entertained by watching us and football in general, I’d be looking at the mid to late 90s.

But football has somewhat disappeared up its own arse with overly athletic players, overly prepared tactics and formations and an incredible fear of the financial repercussions of failing that low blocks, dead ball reliance and other horrible aspects of the modern game have meant that it’s become a bit dull.

I also think that social media/the internet has had a bad impact too. When we lost in the 80s (which we did quite a lot), I would be a bit unhappy but just go to school/work and look forward to next weeks match beer and sing song. Now we spend all our time analysing the sh*t out of everything and winding each other up into an incandescent rage about the minute a particular substitution was made.

What I used to read in the Chelsea Independent and the Red Card was actually pretty funny and interesting. Much less relentless hate towards most of the players and staff. Gentle mickey taking of Ken Bates was more the style.

Tottenham are in big trouble, Fulham next up and then Palace

They are but can West Ham, Leeds and Forest do enough to put them down?

Spot On.

It was in the '90's that I made the decision to stop buying the match day programme and always got the Indie and Red Card instead. Much better read for fraction of the price. Who else had the Indie "Young, gifted & blue" T-Shirt. Wore mine for years until it had more holes in than our defence does currently!

Hmm Saka limping off. Will it be Noni vs Gusto next week?

Saka limps off every week, and is nearly always fine for the next match.

He has got a seriously low pain threshold for an adult.

West Ham are picking up points (11 from last 6 games). Leeds too. I think Forest look most at risk currently.

Yeah I don't think they get 3 more points in the remaining games than Spurs.

Looking a lot better under Pereira. I think he'll keep them up. West Ham much better but not sure they can make up the points difference.

Out of Spurs, Forest and Leeds, Spurs look the most out of form. Leeds and Forest are battling for points.

I always thought it was a ridiculous idea that spurs would get relegated but actually, it is looking worrying for them.

United score. Come on Everton. Do us a favour.

Cannot say I always check their results however Everton seem to lose more at their new ground than they did at Goodison.
