How did West Ham get a lighter fine than us for the brawl at the end of the game? Two of their players should have been banned for their actions but we are fined more??

Unbelievable.

Apparently it is because our disciplinary record is worse than West Ham's. A £300k fine for any team is absurd anyway, how do they even come up with those numbers?

Very late penalty for Atalanta, and they go through !

Must admit I didn't see them overturning the first leg deficit.

Some of Dortmund's defending was awful. It felt like they thought they had it won in the first leg.

Monaco end up being down to 10 in both games vs PSG in the early stages of the second halfs, and only miss out by a single goal on aggregate.

Not sure whether Newcastle or PSG is the better draw for us.

Wouldn't actually fear PSG if we drew them.

They look the most knackered out of every club in Europe.

They do. Their work off the ball has dropped off and the fragile defence is being exposed.

Trent was awful against Benfica last night, and doesn’t seem to have settled at Madrid. He needs to be freed from his defensive duties and given a free role which won’t happen at Madrid. I do wonder if he might just move back to the PL this summer, Pep seems to be a fan.

I think either he or James would be their big summer signing next window.

We got the difficult side of the bracket, makes up for the club World Cup.

Bloody hell I just saw that !!!

Piss easy draw for Arsenal in the bottom half ...

Top Half : PSG, Real Madrid, Man City, Liverpool, Bayern, (us) ...

Our likely progression path : PSG > Liverpool > then Man City/Real Madrid/Bayern ... and then a final against the Arse or Barcelona ! OUCH

Least the sporting directors won't get away with it.

In theory should be harder against PSG this time.

City get Real Madrid, Spurs get Atletico and Arsenal get Leverkusen.

PSG are nowhere near what they were. They were lucky to stumble past Monaco and barely keeping their noses in front domestically. As someone pointed out, it looks like the CWC scenario is catching up with them.

It looks like this is Arsenal's year. Leverkusen and then Sporting, should be easy enough for them. Barsa or Atleti in the semifinals, and Barsa are not at the top level either this season. I can see Arsenal winning their first CL, to be honest.

They will bottle it. They remind me of that Leverkusen side that were primed for a big season but collapsed at the finish line.

Looks more like a Europa League draw until the semi final. They can rest players and go through if they chose to do so.

They should, at minimum, make the final, imo.
