Missed a lot of the game, how come there’s 13 mins added on?

Half has to be the ref watching Ampadu getting kicked in the head on the monitor.

We've got to beat them next week.

We're so sh*t now we will be their salvation. West Ham are so crap they will lose to Newcastle and then we will choke and save Tottenham. At the fkign Bridge. There was a time that if this scenario played out there would be civil war, but with the tourists getting tickets nowadays i'm not so sure.

At least Millwall haven't made the play-off final.

Good thing. Though Hull are little better. Boro should have tonked Saints in the first leg, utterly dominated the first half. As one-sided as you'll ever see. Same old problem: can't score a goal. Probably come back to haunt them.

I honestly don't think they are being corrupt. I think it is more a case of being inept.

Modern football, especially the PL, is a mess with corners being the main area which needs addressing urgently. The grappling, jostling, impeding keepers, players going down - there is so much going on it is a complete nightmare to try and ref that. So now the ref gets help from VAR, but then depending who is doing the VAR for that particular game, you get a different interpretation every time, so there will never be consistency.

I hate how keepers are over-protected. They need to be stronger and stop going down at the merest contact. But ref's and VAR HAVE to start clamping down on all the holding. I know it's difficult as it is often defender and attacking holding each other, but if a defender clearly has his arms around an attacker when the ball comes in they HAVE to award a penalty EVERY time. If they did that, it would stop straight away. Right now players know they have a fair chance of getting away with it.

I don't mind the jostling, etc between players on set pieces, it's normal in a contact game. The more extreme cases of WWE moves are punished more often than not but they still need to do better to reach 100% rather than the 60%-70%range they are called at now.

As for the Raya situation, I do not understand the controversy. Clearly holding down Raya's hands and pulling him, those fouls are just about the only thing VAR is always consistent on. I'm no fan of Arsenal either but there has never been a situation where their players are holding down a keepers hand and pulling his shirt at the same time that was given as a goal. I remember like 2 seasons ago they also had a goal ruled out for the same foul so there's no conspiracy here.

There's several cases going around social media right now of instances Arsenal were culpable of that warranted either a free kick, goal overturned, or penalty. They don't have to be grabbing the GK, simply obstructing them from performing a save is a foul at end of the day. They've gotten away with instances like that consistently all season. Hell, Raya and Rice assaulted our players at the away match and nothing was done.

The warranted outcry of conspiracy is valid in my opinion.

As Sconnies says the issue is it hasnt been consistent in the slightest, Arsenal have scored goals almost identical to that one on the weekend that wasnt given, and have had a ridiculous amount of VAR go their way lately, including the nonsense in our game against them.

Also VAR purposefully ignored several fouls by Arsenal players during that non-goal review, at least 3 penalties could have been given yet they chose to just ignore them all.

Such as? The only one I've seen that comes remotely close from those compilations on X is the United one and even that is not the same cause 1) Someone, I think Mount, is pushing Gabriel into his own keeper and 2) Gabriel is just standing there, he's not block the GKs hands from making a save.

I agree with the WWE moves like we had on Pedro but like I said more often than not those are called, we just got screwed that game.

Don't think it was ignored, it's similar to when there are multiple fouls outfield the ref will focus on the one that impacted play the most.
