Daniel Levy has stepped down as Chairman at Spurs.

I Hope that's not good news

Can't see who is taking over seems unusual as you would expect continuity to keep the brand and supporters positive.

A big moment for Spurs as he has been seen as the main man for at least two decades.

Levy had an iron grip on the club. He's left partway through a season, not immediately after the trophy win and he hasn't cited health or family reasons. Is the club being sold?

Why not indeed ?

I sincerely hope there's nothing depraved or perverse lurking in darkness behind all this...

It's Spurs

Looks like it's simply about money - owners probably think the "Levy Out" chants before every game aren't going away... so he should.

Reason to be concerned about Spurs? Supporters have always been frustrated with how tight Levy was and how many transfers they have missed out on. But who is to say they will be run any differently?

Spurs supporters will no doubt be very happy right now but let's just hope their joy is short-lived and they're soon as angry as West Ham supporters!

Looks like it's about finally rearranging priorities. Profit is all well and good but, under Levy, it had come at the expense of actual football performance vis a vis on field success courtesy of his penny pinching. The Lewis family have decided it's time to prioritise on field success. Given their financial platform they are potentially a sleeping giant.

I was told the other day that Spurs were one of the most financially strong teams in the Premier League.

I was so relieved thank goodness they haven't been successful on the pitch.

Long may it continue.

Exclusive: Tottenham investor could buy out Daniel Levy a...

Tottenham's owners ENIC could agree a takeover deal after Daniel Levy's exit has been confirmed in north London.

Sad news, Onana has been sent out on loan by Man Utd. Apparently he had the cheek to ask for a big salary increase on a new contract.

The good news is that their former no.2 doesn't really appear to be a notable improvement based on his performances so far.

Man City & Premier League end sponsor rules dispute - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cy7pk8xyy7go

An "expert" on these things on radio just now said that both parties have stepped away from the legal process and that the original disputed sponsorship deal will no longer be challenged by the PL . . Also they have recognised that there will be exceptions to " fair market value " sponsorships . . Seems like a possible minefield if true, but apparently it was costing so much in legal fees to continue that the PL wanted it finished.

Still a mystery about the other charges though.

Hope Clearlake buy them out 😂

Talk sport earlier today reported that ..

If just one more PL club is owned by Americans, there will be 14 clubs with American owners, and 14 is all you need to win a vote on changes that affect the whole League.

Like abolishing relegation!!

Or playing a league game in another country !!

Not that American owners are known for making ridiculous decisions 😂

Nuno did a good job with Forest, but Marinakis had an issue with him for some inexplicable reason

Ange to Forest would be interesting to watch.

Marinakis is a twat, Nuno isn't. End of.

Nuno and Ange couldn't be further apart in their footy philosophy. Given that Forest are set up entirely in Nuno's image the switch to Ange should be, um, fascinating.
