More inevitable than embarrassing. Both these sides are far more adventurous and enjoyable to watch than the Maresca dirge we get from our team weekly.

Bayern could be the one to humble us. They did last time we played them.

Nacho hat trick? 😂

That would be hilarious.

I don't think we are that lucky though, mine has certainly been rotten this year.

If Garnacho scores the winning goal, then I am heading straight over to the United Stand for Goldbridge's reaction.

Just saw the City goals, was Maguire really trying to play Haaland offside while they were both in the City half 😅

Matter of coincidence, but I’m working in Bilbao this week, and the bloody Arsenal team are staying in my hotel (Melia). What time is best to run up and down the corridors screaming?

Set off the fire alarm at 2am - instant Chelsea legend 😉

Best defence? They have 4 CBs at all times on the pitch with 2 sitting DMs.

Best attack? Martinelli, Noni, Trossard, Saka, Eze, Odegaard and Gyokeres?

Come on now. Saka will never be his 2022-23 self ever again. The rest are just decent footballers bar Martinelli who is just trash

Yes, they defo have the best defence. They have only conceded one goal this season but have not conceded a goal from open play. Their defence is very organised and has a good mix of attacking and defensive balance. Mosquera has come in for Saliba past 3 games and looked solid. Saka has had injury issues, but he is still a quality player. He will makee a big difference when he is back. If he does decline it will be later towards peak of his career. Jury still out on Gyokeres as despite scoring 3, he has looked quite off the pace imo but again you can also look and think he is warming up for the league. Martinelli is like Garnacho. Useful squad players and if coming off the bench like today, they look more effective.

Arsenal play City on weekend and even without some of their 'key men', I expect them to beat City. I wouldn't be totally sure of saying that for Liverpool if Salah was injured for instance.

2-3 great second half performance, thoroughly deserved.

Benfica are no mugs that is a stunning comeback. Maybe their greatest ever win?

f**king Liverpool getting yet another late winner. Was the icing on the cake for a miserable night.

Winning mentality, remember the days we had that in abundance. Stick VVD or similar captain figure into our back line and you’d see an impact. It was noticeable Sanchez of all players berating Gusto for his mistake.
