What was the point of KDH? Cover. Thats all.

Cover for Fermin who’s cover for Palmer? Isn’t that what the youth team is for?

Are we sure Palmers not out for the season?

No idea, have not heard so. I doubt he would be out at a carnival if season ending injury. Buonanotte covers Wings and CAM. He will play the odd carabao cup games, allowing ample rest to players in a long season with very little time off due to CWC.

Dont think we are serious about this one. They probably think it looks better if we look like this is our main target but we couldnt get him, rather losing out on Xavi to spurs, because we can't spend anymore.

Maybe more one for January/next season?

Barca want €90m, definitely not happening. I also would be wary of signing a player who has spent all his years in Barca, didn’t Ferran Torres move back to Barca 2yrs after signing for City because he was homesick?

This. It’s PR and nothing more imo. I’d love to be wrong but the Brighton loan tells you everything we need to know.

we’re obviously more skint than any of us realise.

Just don’t think our directors are any good - not at just talent IQ, but negotiating.

Arsenal just got one of Europe's top left cb’s on loan with an ‘option’ to buy. What a deal that would have been for us with Levi out.

It’s a really deflating end to the window tbh. I personally don’t feel we’ve done enough for top 4 let alone a prem challenge. Spurs, look a lot stronger than last season. We’re at best on par from last season. I’d probably even keep Jackson at this point

Yeah I really dont rate Jackson or Nkunku, but when it seemed but replacing them with Garnacho and Buenoatte just seems like a massive downgrade.

Just watching now, and that bench is very weak. Delap injured and we have to turn to George who is also in talks to leave the club.

If we do somehow pull Fermin Lopez out the bag, then I would be happy with the attack, although I would still be keeping George if Maresca trusts him at striker.

Colwill out is massive, can't see Chalobah, Tosin, and the always injured french duo being enough really.

Chelsea submit bid to Barcelona worth €𝟒𝟎𝐦 for Fermín López. Barcelona maintain their position, 𝐧𝐨 intention to sell Fermín this summer and not for €40m offered today.

That is a disrespectful and hilarious bid.

Crazy bid, definitely looks like a pr stunt. Delap's injury gives them the perfect get out jail card now though, as they can use the fact Jackson isnt leaving to justify not pursuing Fermin any further.

Personally I dont agree with bringing back Jackson for a hamstring injury. He hasnt played or training with the team for weeks. By the time he is at match speed Delap will probably be back. Might as well use Shim Mhueka and possibly Datro Fofana for a few weeks as cover. Jackson is coming back in with a lot of negative energy.

We will see with Fermin, I think he is absolutely class, would love him here, and this might be the only small window we get to try and prise him away from Barcelona. I am extremely skeptical we are serious though.

Chill lad, Spurs are putrid.

Jackson has been training with the first team squad this whole time. Literally for this very same reason -incase of him staying.

Not what Maresca said. Enzo Maresca: “Yes, Jackson CAN LEAVE. He will NOT be with the squad now”. ✋🏻

If in fact we have been in contact with Fermin we’d only put in a bid if he’s indicated he’d be willing to come.

Now €40 looks like it’s way off the mark so the question is how much more do we have to spend? If this doesn’t work out who do we think the last minute options will be if any?

We're not skint. We just can't spend over a certain amount or else we'll face fines or potential bans by Uefa

I just don't understand why we need to sign several players every window even after buying so many over recent years.

If the "strategy" was really working, we should only need to buy 1 or 2 every window to plug holes, but that's not the case. It's really bizarre

It’s because we aren’t a football club anymore we’re a SuPeR aGeNt PoRtFoLiO 🤮🤮🤮

Hence he is training but away from the first team, which is normal when you have requested to leave.

He has been literally training with the first team. From the official website itself. 3rd photo in the training gallery. Stop with the false narrative.
