We did try to score and had a few chances. We pushed Arsenal all the way tonight and that can be seen in thier relief at scoring at the end. There's no way we were going to win this early and we had to stay in the game to stand a chance.

There's no way I'm knocking Rosenior for the approach. He's had these players for a few weeks and they seem to be with him. We would have been 2 -0 down at halftime with Maresca.

Would have been all over in the first leg with Maresca

The way I see it is that we don’t have enough quality in attack.

Joao Pedro had too much to do on his own, then when we introduced quality attackers in Palmer and Estevao, Pedro was too knackered by then.

We desperately need to replace the likes of Delap and Garnacho. You can add Gittens to that list too.

Urgh, 3 signings from last summer. Embarrassing.

Delusional

I'm gobsmacked that there is any positivity for that performance.

Merse has just summed it perfectly, we've just gone out of a semi final with a whimper.. that piss poor excuse of a manager should be ashamed of HIMSELF sending them out to play like that for so long.

That was a weak pathetic effort by a weak group.

You can’t really say that. He scored the winning goal for us in CL final.

Yes, he’s a rat and an absolute w**ker but there is a line we don’t cross.

f**k him, I want his knee to explode into tiny pieces. He was dog sh*t that CL campaign, he should be on his knees thanking us for giving him that trophy and supporting his dog sh*t displays for all those years and all he’s done is take the piss since he’s left in interviews and celebrations.

I thought the initial tactics were ok yet the lift from Palmer, Estevao and Garnacho did not come.

Neither Estevao or Garnacho tested their men by putting the after-burners on down the line.........

Palmer kept finding space and created one chance finding Enzo who could not hit a winner today.

I can't hate Havertz we were just not good enough on the ball.

Rice saying how well we tested them today.

The one criticism of the ref, 4 times today by my count he stopped quick breaks by our team.

Liked LR putting on Josh as Gusto looked a Red likely to happen.

Liam didn’t do enough for me to go and try and win this game. Never tested the Arsenal defence until the last 5 minutes. Pissing around again with slow build ups, passing for the sake of passing, taking no risks. We were one down, not one up we needed a goal to make Arsenal think, instead it was just a stroll for them. Strange starting line up for me….we had to go and score, while Pedro is hot, Delap is a disaster so where was the goal going to come from?

As I said, you can’t keep playing the same hand of bringing on subs in the 2nd half to bail you out and expect to win every time… I hope Liam understands that there is such a thing as a best XI …and he should have started with them today.

The entire brand of football we play needs to change. This sh*te has been ingrained into the club at this point and I am at my wits end with it.
