Glad Spain won, Portugal are spoilers thought it would be one goal and when it came it looked so simple.

Hopefully that is the end of Ronaldo at top international level though I would not bet on that.

I guess this match is like England vs Scotland or Wales and is always an awkward one as everyone knows each other.

The main reason why I have less respect for Ronaldo than I do for any other legend of the game is his narcissism. First off, nobody rates the Nations League, most people don't even watch it. It's not even a 2nd rate trophy. It's basically like winning a friendly trophy as far as I am concerned. Secondly, his European Championship came from the tournament going through it's worst structural change where you could be sh*t in the groups and easily qualify to the knockouts, that was Portugal. He scored in just 2 games in the entire tournament and got injured in the final. His team won it without him on the pitch. Trying to claim those titles as his own is a slap in the face to his teammates.
