As Just said this is still THE game to win and we didn't just win, we mocked them!!

Quite a few candidates this week. For me the stand out players were A Cole, Drogba, Essien, Cechand Bosingwa.

Bosingwa tore them apart in the first half but was shalckles more in the second half. Cole and Drogba capped their good performances with great goals, Essien was good in the first half but excellent in the second and Cech kept the score sheet at 0-0 when we were struggling to find form in the first half. .

I have opted for Drogba who was a handful for the Spurs back line eevry time the ball came near him.

Difficult to choose from Drogba, Essien, Ashley Cole, and Bosingwa, but finally decided on Drogba who was unstoppable today.

Erm... Err... Umm... ... ... ............. Ash, just ahead of the Drogs.

My thoughts exactly. Bos & Essien played well too.

Lamps still worryingly below par

Still early. don't be worried. Another assist today, two assist against burnley, goal v Sunderland. Three goals for England in two games few weeks back! Could do with a couple of goals but he's having a decent season even if Ballack is outscoring him at the moment! I reckon he'll score a brace v Wigan and get MOM!

I actually think he's playing ok so far this season. It would appear that the system we are playing just isn't allowing Lamps the free rein he's used to. But he'll get better as the season goes on..

Playing the way we are, Lampard is not going to get the goals we normally expect of him however that shouldn't necessarily be used to prove he is not playing as well. He is still contributing a lot to the team, we may just have to get used to the fact that he is going to do the job that midfielders normally do rather than doing it as well as doing the job of a support striker.

It was between Drogba and Essien for me and I went for Essien, who was outstanding pretty much whenever it mattered. Vital tackles, passed well, contributed to attack - he really is the whole package.

I find it wonderful that we have so many to choose from, though. I wish every week we had such tough choices to make :)

Spot on, I've got no worries regarding Lamps, today he played some nice passes, got an assist and if he'd had his shooting boots on he'd have scored the one he pulled wide.

Lamps had a pretty good game I thought. His trouble is he's set such high standards for himself these last few years that even a slight dip makes it seem like he's playing badly. When he wasn't talking about Carlos Angelotti, Ashley King and Boss-winger, Robbie Earle kept saying how Lamps needs a goal to boost his confidence, as if he's in some terrible run of form..

I'll go for Drogs as MOTM. Got a great goal and an assist, and generally terrorised the Spurs defence. Cole, Bosingwa, Cech and Essien all had excellent games too, so an honourable mention for them.

Ashley Cole was exceptional today. Drogba was close behind.

Frank played well and could/should have got on the score sheet but I'm still a bit confused with why he is playing so far forward. I know it is supposed to be tip of the diamond, but for most of the game we were more or less 4-3-3 and I would have just pushed Malouda forward and left Frank on the left of midfield where he does his best work.

Overall a super win after a shaky start.

Both full backs were superb, but Ashley just shaded it, not just for his goal, all round he was again immense, (who is William Gallas???)

Ash for me. Taken a long while but he's won me over big time this season with his consistent high performances. Lennon never got a look in and scored a great goal too

Ashley, easy.

A goal, a great assist and kept Lennon quiet. Really quite brilliant. Again.
