March 29, 201511 yr https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G65HCZhUNsE He's still got it. I hope Iceland make it to the Euros mostly because of him.
March 29, 201511 yr Ricky Carvalho scored for Portugal against Serbia earlier. Many will be pleased to hear Tiago is doing well and Bosingwa is apparently still alive.
April 5, 201511 yr Benitez is the same everywhere, he starts well enough usually delivering a trophy but as time goes on his teams get worse and worse.
April 5, 201511 yr I wonder if there's a Napoli forum out there full of Liverpool fans telling them how great he is.
April 6, 201511 yr He really did brainwash the Liverpool fans, I mean they all loved his "fachts" stuff on Ferguson but that was a meltdown ala Kevin Keegan that ultimately was a key factor in the, stuttering in their title challenge.
April 6, 201511 yr Lots on RAWK still want him back. If they got him back I'd be fine with that. I'll never forget having a discussion with a Gooner who claimed Benitez was a better manager than Mourinho and claimed he had more victories because of that. I said to him Benitez record against Jose isn't that great, Jose has bested him more than he's bested him. He never replied after that. Mourinho wins 7 Benitez wins 5 Draws 4
April 6, 201511 yr ^ On the same basis, did the Gooner accept that Mourinho is a better manager than Wenger? Mourinho wins: 7 Draws: 5 Wenger wins: 0
April 12, 201511 yr Still a bit gutting to see Mata in the Man Utd shirt, should really be used to it by now :(
April 13, 201511 yr I'm a United fan, if you couldn't tell by my avatar, and wanted to post that one of the few things that we all have in common is a love for Juan Mata. He is possibly the classiest and nicest footballer I've ever seen. Seriously, what a guy.
April 13, 201511 yr Hello and welcome Brixtac. Welcome mate. Yeah I'm still gutted he left. Thanks! There were talks about him leaving earlier in the season when he wasn't playing and, even though he has only been here a short time, I just can't imagine him leaving. So damn endearing. It'll be his first time back at SB next weekend. Do you reckon he'll get a good reception, for an opposition player at least?
April 13, 201511 yr I'm confident he will. He was a huge favourite and nearly everyone wanted him to be played by Mourinho before he left. I certainly don't think he'll get a bad one. At least polite applause. He got a great one from our away fans at OT. Edited April 13, 201511 yr by RichardCFC
April 14, 201511 yr He'll get a great reception. Not long to go till Frank sods off to New York, I wonder IF we win the league that he'll have a tinge of regret. One party said he wasn't offered another year whilst the other one said he was. If the latter is true I wonder how he'll feel seeing JT lift our first major trophy (no disrespect Capital One Cup) without him.

As he's won nothing with Man City, I think he'll regret going there and not New York, rather than regretting not staying with us. He's slightly tainted his legacy for some people (not me) yet won nothing. Edited April 14, 201511 yr by RichardCFC
April 15, 201511 yr More from Schurrle and his love affair with chelsea...still sad how it worked out for the guy...don't know what went wrong and despite being off from this season, still reckon he could have played a part in our squad Anyway, saw this quote and still has no regrets about how things worked out: The Bundesliga player told Gazzetta "The Blues were only club that I wanted to play for as a child. English football, London... It was a dream, I could not refuse."

Always gutting to see a player go who clearly connected with the club.
April 15, 201511 yr How did you lot get so much for David Luiz....? It's all about the timing. The deal was wrapped up before Brazil played Germany.
