Brilliant seeing Canners back at the club and involved after his recent health scare. He`s great to listen to, heard him in a few interviews over the past month or so. Would be amazing to spend time with him at a match.

I bet they made sure his seat was put in on time!

Jimmy Floyd's Burton Albion have started the new season where they left off - three wins from three, joint top of the league with Portsmouth.

Go on fat arse....Jimmy, not you, obviously.

Sad to read about how one of Chelseas finest ever, ‘Alan Hudson’ is taking on the FA to have all mention of his England playing record deleted….

https://www.sportbible.com/football/alan-hudson-demands-the-fa-delete-his-playing-records-with-england-20210819.amp.html

So he's moved on from whining about Chelsea to now whining about the FA. It's sad to see what he has become.

He’s just a bitter old man nowadays, nothing good to say about anything it seems.

He's long since been a bitter old man, but this is nuts:

"My dream of a long international career was ruined and has led to long-term depression, anxiety and panic for which I still have counselling"

My dreams of an international career were cruelly taken away from me, too. As were my hopes of winning multiple Olympic golds in athletics, swimming and speed climbing.

It's been a long road but I am coming to terms with my disappointment.

I would look for a new therapist if I were him. All those years of counselling doesn't seem to have worked. Still lingering and assigning blame to anyone but himself. Or he gets the right counselling but he doesn't apply it, that's of course another possibility.

No idea what that means logistically - does he want the FA to literally burn his caps?

It's a bit sad to read to be honest; he comes across as incredibly bitter, but reading the below it makes me wonder... against whom exactly??

"I had been considering doing this for some time. Seeing how Grealish was humiliated by so little playing time when he was the one player who might have won the tournament for our country has pushed me over the edge.

"No wonder we haven't won so much as a tin pot let alone another major championship since 1966."

Willian could be getting a free transfer to get his wages off the books apparently. Lovely bit of business by us there :laugh2:

No idea what Arsenal were playing at by handing him that 3 year contract. Presumably they bought him in for his "experience".

But here we are one year later and Arsenal have done a complete 180 and now are buying up young, promising players instead and slowly offloading their senior squad members like Luiz, Ozil, Willian and there was even a rumour they would listen to any offers for Aubameyang.
