One things for sure, we're defintely struggling in the transfer market this summer. Seems all the extra money has made clubs greedy.

I wouldn't say struggling. We've got 2 of our main targets which our rivals would have happily signed instead. Yes we haven't signed any defensive reinforcements but the window is still open and I'm confident we'll get someone

Like you I was impressed with him at the Euros (his workrate in particular) but he rarely scores or assists. Rodriguez on the other hand is a different proposition, 13 goals/23 assists in 125 Bundesliga appearances to date.

wolfsburg or chelsea? nothing against the former, but they won't be able to compete with the big boys in their league and the chance to play in an exciting league like he epl, and also the chance of cups is a big motivation too if a player has any degree of ambition.

I agree there are other clubs with higher appeal than us who can offer CL, but RM have Marcelo, Barca signed Lucas Digne and already have Jordi Alba, PSG have Maxwell, Kolarov at City, Shaw at United... if we're in for him there's a very good chance we could sign him imo, for me I just hope the club has the conviction to find a willing buyer for Baba and go all in for him before he inevitably ends up at Bayern. Arsenal are apparently interested if the rumour mill is anything go by.

Kolarov is not up to standard. I'm sure Man City is in the market.

yes people were saying he is the next Maldini when he first broke into the Milan team, but to be fair Milan have been a mess for a good few years now, he is still young with a lot of potential, i think Conte would be the man to help him live up to his potential

I would ask minimum 40 million for Oscar, I think the rest of Europe are just taking the piss with the English clubs they want to sell at double / triple the price if a EPL team is asking but they want to buy cheap,

In today's market? He is inconsistent but has talent, he is only 24 and a member of Brazilian national team. Surely we can get more than 30 mil for him if we are prepared to bid 60 mil for Lukaku

I know but one player cannot have a value for a European team and double the value for an EPL team. I was wondering if went for Gameiro what would have been the price for us....
