It seems like we are being linked with every player on the market at this point.  I've no problem with that as we are one of the richer clubs in football, so it's fine (to me) when media links us to players.  But if we sign Cavani I will go mad.

Draxler to Arsenal (which possibly could happen but still it's been 'on' every summer for years)

If we're going for another attacking midfielder, I'd fancy us going for James at Madrid as he doesn't seem to get much of a look in, but I don't think we really need any more.

We are getting linked with a 40 million bid for Cavani now.

I would have went crazy about this pre PSG, don't think we should be paying that kind of money for him now though.

If that's in pounds it's not a kick in the pants off the €60m Madrid apparently want for Morata, and he's significantly younger and got more potential.

Hopefully we're focusing on defensive reinforcements first mind you!

What has he been up to lately?  I know he was a hot prospect last season, but since then I've not seen his name surface at all, and he was one I was looking out for.

Dipped in form a bit last season but powered home. Arsenal are the only side that has been linked lately. I think we could get him for about 40m and he's better than all the strikers we've been linked to. We seem desperate so I'm surprised his name hasn't come up.

He mouthed off sometime last season that he would only be signing for a club in the CL evident to why he has rejected Westham's approach twice besides we have Michy who I believe is a better all round player.

Anyone knocking us back because we don't have CL isn't really looking at the bigger picture. It's the first time in a long time since we haven't played CL. If we made him an offer I'm sure we could tempt him. Would rather him than paying overs for Cavani, Morata, Lukaku, etc.

I doubt he will go anywhere, he has been injured since early september last year, missing almost the whole of last season. He was solid defender before that and he can also play as a RB.
