I'm hoping for Ruiz because I raté him so highly. I genuinely think we win the league if we get him.

So if we got Ruiz and Camara, that would have them alongside Caicedo, Barco, Lavia, Essugo, and James......that's too many midfielders now. I can see Essugo going out on loan and James being move to a different position, but with no European football this season, will we have enough games to give Lavia and Barco a chance?

Ah come on guys. Ruiz, really? It's a pipe dream. PSG still hold a grudge on us for the whole Ziyech thing am sure. They have the same owner still and he was livid at the time.

Barco will get good enough minutes, Lavia is depending on the sturdity of his legs.

Reece is like our emergency backup CM. Essugo is a loanee for sure.

If the aim is CL football, imho it's better if we set up like this now, at least the competition would not keep them complacent

So while none of the more "top tier" ITKs are reporting this, I have seen some suggesting that Lamine Camara is all done but we are holding off letting anything slip on it so as not to impact the potential Enzo sale. Both ourselves and City seem to be determined as to who "wins" that battle.

Whether Enzo stays, or not, it sounds like Camara arrives.

Thats a surprise. Although if we are trying to make out he is not coming to us, because of the Enzo situation, him playing today is a good way to throw them off.

If Caicedo is injured and Enzo is off we need bodies. I just don't trust Lavia and Reece to play 90 minutes every week and Barco and Essugo aren't ready.

I see he was not subbed, played the whole game.

At the end did he do the normal player leaving thing of applauding all sides of the ground by any chance?

I really hope the scouting department have done their job on him. I can’t face another Monaco flop.

Not done yet but getting closer according to Matt law:

He's on the short side, as are Barco and Caicedo. I'd like to see some big lumps of granite in the midfield.

Fabrizio has also said the reports out of France and Belgium that the deal is done are not true. No agreement, Monaco want to keep the player but cannot turn down a big offer.
