93M for Savinho is mad. That's on top of 100M for Tonali and 85M for Fernandes. Spurs truly the clown of this transfer window.

Our owners must be wondering why no offers are coming in for their £120m, £100m & £75m players.

Still think they are screwed if they can’t make at least 2 big sales.

I would not say so. No European football means less stress from that point of view. It's why they keep those numbers high, they really are in no hurry to sell them as long as they do not have to balance the sheets yet.

For this season, Yes. They however need the £300m in sales before July next year to makeup for the CL shortfall. We have added Roger’s £21m annual amortisation + wages, and heard Palestra is on a ridiculous £150k/w wages.

Alonso also sounded non committal about Enzo’s status earlier today.

So was anyone else also impressed with enciso from Paraguay? Thought he was their only good player in attack and looked really good in tight spaces.

He’s a strasbourg player and 22…

Brilliant player at his best and PL proven, but the only reason Brighton let him go in the first place was his injury record.

Talk of Dario Essugo heading to Hull on a season loan. Provided he get games think that would be a great move for him.

Also that we have set a price of 25mill for Marc Guiu, who has 3 offers on the table from Italy, Spain and Germany.

Fee is laughable, no one is paying that amount. The best they can hope for is loan with option to buy.

To put the fee in perspective, Bayern signed Germany’s LB Nathaniel Brown for £25m in the summer.

I don't understand the logic of some people on here, you seem to be annoyed that we try and get the best possible value for our players? Like that guy who wants us to accept £80m for Enzo just because he doesn't like him.

There’s a difference between getting the ‘best possible price’ and just being left with a depreciating asset.

A week left of the transfer window and we’re still stuck with ‘300M’ worth of players in Enzo, Neto & Gusto. Is that because no one is interested? Or is it because we’re pricing them out of a move.

We stuck a 25M price tag on Disasi at the start of the window, he’s just gone to Palace for a 3M loan fee for the season. We stuck a 30M price tag on Badiashille, he’s just gone to Napoli for a 4M loan fee for the season.

We want 50M for Liam Delap, 25M for Marc Guiu, they both appear to still be at the club.

There’s getting the best price available but there’s got to come a point where we’re realistic and take the actual market value of these players to unclog the squad and generate some income off the back of these underwhelmers to actually strengthen for a season that’s going to be our best shot at a title in years.

You reckon anyone is paying £25m for a player that has played 520mins of football in 2yrs, 330mins or which was in the PL?

I don’t give a f**k if we make money or lose money on these players, if we earn great, if we lose then let’s start sacking some SD’s, great. If you can leave £40m on the floor every season with no FOS then money doesn’t matter so let’s just concentrate on the football.

Let’s just give XA the squad and tools he needs. Loan the surplus or sell them just get the first team squad ready.

Absolutely not. They won’t play him when they are fighting for survival, and he needs to play at a club with a similar style to us.

Essugo to Strasbourg

Mudryk to Leeds

Think Dirty will have a decent season funny enough but personally wouldn't entrust any of our players to Farke after the way he handled Gilmour.

To me some of the prices are basically just beginning prices, there's no chance that we walk away from £40m for Delap or £18m for Guiu or £85m for Neto.

Some of the average players that have gone for big money this summer dictates what we're looking for. Gordon to Barca £70m, Yan Diamande to Madrid £110m, Van Hecke to Spurs £52m, Matheus Fernandes to Spurs £80m. Is Elliott Anderson better than Enzo? No, so anything lower than what City paid for him is just us getting ripped off.

To be fair to Farke, Gilmour can't now get in the Napoli team in the supposedly piss weak Italian league ...

But we don't sell anyone. We set ridiculous prices and make them public. Why would anybody think this kid is worth £25m when he cost us £6m and can't get a game anywhere. I'd be amazed if he gets sold, let alone at that price.

With the time remaining in the window I am not confident that these frauds will be able to complete any permanent sales. That's not taking into account trying to get replacements in.

The key difference being that we are desperate to sell, whereas those players were bought by clubs who were desperate to buy and had deep pockets. Forest didn't need to sell Anderson and had stiff competition from 3-4 other capable clubs, so they could demand what they wanted. Diomande was clearly a PR signing by Perez following re-election. Spurs were desperate full stop, and obviously got fleeced.

No one is desperate to buy Delap, Fernandez, Gusto, Neto et al. Jackson appears to be the only saleable piece.

Then you look at selling clubs. Relative to your examples, Morgan Rogers for £117m looks like a bargain, let alone Villa losing Tielemans and Konsa for less than £90m.

Why do say we don't sell anyone, we have the most transfer income by far in the past 4 years, since the 22/23 season weve made over £900m.

I guess it's because we buy so many players that there's also a lot that either hang around contributing very little or get continually loaned out.

That's a natural consequence of buying sh*t players, nobody wants to buy them when it's time to sell. So it's more of a buying problem then a selling problem, as I see it. We seem to do OK at selling decent players like Cucu, Santos, Trev, etc. Getting €21.00m for George was pretty good going.

The Academy has saved these guys skin over and over.

They are easy to sell though because it’s pure profit, no book value to try and protect and they haven’t had their salaries quadrupled and a 7yr contract.

And in most cases they just want to go somewhere and play.

George and Chalabah providing most or our profit so far again this window.
