The events are underwritten by sponsors and the platform TransferRoom, they book a venue and basically it's a networking event where everyone has permission to deal. Not really one for the big clubs or super-agents, but helps them efficiently sort out moves for squad players. It's huge for smaller clubs, or clubs outside Western Europe because they can learn about potential youth players needing a loan, or steal a march on the big clubs for a youth prospect wanting to head to Europe.

Come on we all know is the football equivalent of a Diddy party.
August 5Aug 5 With Arsenal on the verge of signing Guimaraes for £75m, I just wonder where that leaves Zubimendi who I rate highly, and was brilliant last season.Media reporting that Alonso is a fan, but again it all hinges on our Argi. Ideally if you can find a buyer for Enzo, Zubimendi might be the cost price, experienced option to Wharton. Won’t come cheap though, since they paid £60m for him last summer, and the state of the midfield market.

I do find it funny that they sold Norgaard at a loss and Tamiyasu just left on a free, yet they are spending big money on Bruno and almost got Rogers for 100m. On top of it, they offer mad wages to their players. I swear Arsenal has benefited the most from PSR/FFP rule changes.

Buying loads of players in their prime and generating next to nothing in transfers.
