Fans keep forgetting this 35+ players are happy to come here for the wage bump. We will also be agent fees on each transfer. Last season we paid the highest agent fees in the league, fully expect us to top the table again this season because of the ridiculous squad turnover.

We don’t have European football, but already have a squad of 38 first team players that needs to be trimmed down to 25 players. What is the plan here, when we are struggling to sell home grown players for pure profit.

Dont care about the fee, both will just be half coaching the others. We won't see the impact they have on the dressing room.

In favour of Henderson for sure even if he gets 0 minutes.

Can't see how adding yet another striker helps the sale or value of all the others. The bomb squad will have 3 strikers. Giui, Jackson, Delap or Emegha.

I suppose they'll keep Disasi, Badiashiel and Fofana company.

Can't loan more than 2 players to one club, can't loan twice to different clubs in the same season, only 6 international loan spots. Where are all these dross players going to go when we can't shift them.

BlueCo meetings must be entertaining at times. Palestra, Rogers, Lacroix then they throw in Wellbeck and Henderson. I wouldn’t be surprised if they suddenly switch to Mbappe tomorrow.

Your right it will screw their value not only because we will be more desperate to sell them but having decided 35yld Wellbeck is better than all of them you can’t now ask for decent money for any off them with a straight face…. Let’s hope they have sales or loans with obligations already lined up but if history tells us anything they probably don’t.

We are being linked with Theo Hernandez French Left back. While Chavarria deal has gone quiet.

Pffft. The lesser of the two brothers as defenders. Lucas was vastly better till injuries took their toll.

The SDs probably got them mixed up.

Quite likely given that one of them is usually almost always on crutches.

I'd rather just have Hato has number one and let Emenalo pick up the rest of the minutes this season on the left.

Or heaven forbid BlueCo actually try and develop one of Samuels-Smith, Wiley or Best, the three other left back prospects that they have signed to date ... probably all crap though LOL

Samuels-Smith is likely the most ready of the lot, but even he didn't have that much to show for at Swansea.

I think if the plan is to have Palestra be the fullback who bombs forward, I am then starting to warm up to the idea of Hato starting at LB who slides in at LCB when we are on the ball.

I think that is almost certainly the plan. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Palestra starting at RB ahead of Reece ...

BBC saying Everton, Leeds and Forest are interested in £40m for Delap.

Hope something happens there as I don't think he ever was a good fit for us.

Agree. Need to move on there and likely enter season with JP, Emegha snd Welbeck.

He'd be a better fit at one of those clubs and may even score a few goals, but you know what they say, "if something sounds too good to be true..."

I just can't comprehend anybody being willing to spend £40m after the season he had. It's great if it happens and I hope I'm wrong, but I remain dubious. So much bo**ocks gets reported at this time of year, fuelled by dickheads on twitter competing for attention and followers.

I would point out the same could have been said about Garnacho. Maybe they look at his previous seasons the ones that supposedly created a fight for his signature in the first place. Maybe they see last season with the injuries and lack of game time as a blip and less of a factor in their decision making. Maybe the striker market is that pathetic the desperation will force someone to pay over the odds. Maybe we arent the only club with useless midwits running the show. Maybe Im just deluded.
