May 31, 201412 yr Cech, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Drogba... Chelsea GIANTS disappearing one by one. It was always inevitable. Looks like it's only going to be John next year ! Edit: Actually Petr looks likely to stay as well. Edited May 31, 201412 yr by gussy122
May 31, 201412 yr Roma have put a €61m price tag on Benetia apparently! Watch us buy him now for that price + Lukaku.
June 1, 201412 yr Some rumours that Di Maria is unsettled. Not being linked with Chelsea, but if he becomes available I'd be delighted to have him here. He's always spoken positively about Mourinho and credits him for improving his defensive game and making him a better all-round player. Realistically... Lb- Any of Shaw, Luis or Rodrigues, Cm- Fabregas (Tiago) Cf- Costa, Lukaku Don't think think Pogba will happen, so I'd be very happy with that. Add Di Maria to that and you'd have an excellent haul of summer signings. Edited June 1, 201412 yr by Foggy
June 1, 201412 yr I woke up really excited, thinking that I'd read an article confirming that we were signing Sergio Busquets. Turns out I dreamt the entire thing...
June 1, 201412 yr Excellent player but thank God you were dreaming PloKoon! Don't want him at Chelsea, just dislike him.
June 3, 201412 yr http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2014/6/3/5777058/chelsea-chasing-mexican-forward-according-to-reports Linked to Mexican youngster Jurgenn Damm (not a very Mexican-sounding name), who would likely be another for the buy-and-loan pile.
June 3, 201412 yr Linked with another midfielder http://soccerlens.com/chelsea-show-keen-interest-in-ecuador-midfielder-carlos-gruezo/138707/
June 4, 201412 yr According to Sport Barca have reached a verbal agreement with Marco Reus! http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/posible-acuerdo-barca-reus-3290538
June 5, 201412 yr http://www.footballfancast.com/premiership/chelsea/chelsea-eye-shock-move-for-tottenham-star Dodgy source, but Sandro is a player I like. He's overpowered our midfield often enough. Though I don't dislike Mikel, I'd take Sandro over him. Edited June 5, 201412 yr by Foggy

He could fit the bill. I mean can you imagine the disaster of having to play ramires in defensive mid if matic gets injured or needs to be rested.

Give Chalobah or Ake a run in there in that case, they're both good players and need some faith shown in them if they're to grow
June 5, 201412 yr I don't think Mourinho will be in the mood to blood youngsters this season, otherwise, Ake or Chalobah would be perfect. A sandro and Matic combo certainly won't be shoved around. Physicality is underrated imo. Combining that bullying power with pace and technique and you have a team that anyone will fear. I think last season, quite a few times the team was outmuscled and physically overpowered by the opposition. David Luiz at least gave a bit of that last season, won't be here this time around of course. What I loved about the previous Chelsea was that combination, although during Ancelotti's final season it had become an ageing side with no pace and width.
June 5, 201412 yr Real are bidding 75mils for Suarez. I think we can certainly match that after the sales of Luiz etc. And i read in Waintgotnohistory site we can spend 150millions pounds without doing any damage to our FFP plans. http://t.co/x1UxnYzE8l I know it won't happen since Costa is ours but still it was worth a shot Imagine Suarez paired with Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard. We would have been started as favourties of CL and PL. Edited June 5, 201412 yr by CFCBlue12
June 5, 201412 yr Liverpool wont sell to a EPL club plus we already have Costa just about...it won't happen. We wouldnt be spending anymore than £50 million again anyway IMO.
June 5, 201412 yr Bro Suarez is another class certainly the best striker in the world. And comparing him to Torres's situation is not needed because his quality is superior to Torres Liverpool's one.
June 5, 201412 yr If there was a bit of loose change lying around (50-60million or so), I'd rather get me a Pogba, tbh.
June 5, 201412 yr Bro Suarez is another class certainly the best striker in the world. And comparing him to Torres's situation is not needed because his quality is superior to Torres Liverpool's one. It doesnt matter how good he is we wont be spending that amount again IMO. If we were we would have bid for him last season you not think? Suarez will only go to Spain now.
June 5, 201412 yr Yeah I know but I would be gutted. He's just majestic no matter how much I hate him I can't deny it. He's far superior to Torres of Liverpool is technique and movement and everything apart for pace?. If Real gets him there top 3 will be unplayble. Bale-Suarez-Ronaldo LOL! Edited June 5, 201412 yr by CFCBlue12
June 5, 201412 yr I wouldn't want Chewy at the bridge whatever the price Diego Costa > Suarez if you look at that way. But anyway I'm happy with Costa we actually need a bullish c**t as a #9. Edited June 5, 201412 yr by CFCBlue12
June 5, 201412 yr Hope we get our deals tied up before any suarez to real Madrid transfer. Otherwise we may face some stiff competition for our targets from the scousers. Although costa, fabregas, and Luis, wouldn't have been my choices, I'd be happy with that window as long as it was tied up early, and we hang onto lukaku and Courtois.
