May 20, 201412 yr Rodwell? He's hardly kicked a ball since he moved to City and seems to get injured every time he plays. I'd avoid. We clearly need to sign homegrown statused players this window, if any (other than the striker (maybe 2) positions) That means Micah Richards could well do a job, if Mikel, Ramires and Luiz all leave, then Rodwell would be well worth a punt at a massively reduced rate. Is that how bad things have gotten that we want Man City rejects? No thanks. Very much doubt we will buy Mangala and this might sound weird but if Yaya Toure was available i wouldn't want us to go for him. He is 31, lazy defensive contribution and is on huge wages. Lets look to the future.
May 20, 201412 yr This Yaya stuff is great. A lot of ammunition for rival players and fans to give him a load of sh*t next season. Looking forward to hearing some of the chants already.
May 21, 201412 yr We gonna sip Bacardi like it's your birthdayAnd you know we don't give a f**k it's not your birthday And I wanna leave my club, put my salary up (etc.)
May 21, 201412 yr Of course I know homegrown players dont have to be English, but where is the pride in English football and players. Seriously. Im not even English and Im shocked by how much people dont care if we have british talent or not. wow.

Im not even English and Im shocked by how much people dont care if we have british talent or not. wow. I do. I would love nothing more than our best players to be English. English and world class would be brilliant, but England just doesn't produce enough world class players for that to happen.
May 21, 201412 yr Since we are talking about Toure, this needs to be posted somewhere I couldn't understand it much, but the tone of his voice made him sound a bit mad.
May 21, 201412 yr Micah Richards would be great back up a to our current rb and cb's. He is built for the epl

May 22, 201412 yr http://www.espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1828716/stephan-el-shaarawy-agent-admits-striker-leave-milan?cc=5901 Agent angling for a move or raise at Milan. Even when he's healthy I haven't seen him play much to know if he's good or not, but I remember us being linked to him at some point in the last 1-2 years so am anxiously awaiting some incoming rumours on him.
May 22, 201412 yr I do. I would love nothing more than our best players to be English. English and world class would be brilliant, but England just doesn't produce enough world class players for that to happen. They can be made, i dont believe they cant be. There are way too many foreign players in the English system, it dilutes opportunities past English talent.
May 22, 201412 yr not a rumour, But has anyone thought about Hernandez at utd? He could be very useful, great little poacher, and there are mumbles thats hes off... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9320951/javier-hernandez-told-to-quit-manchester-united-by-mexico-manager Edited May 22, 201412 yr by Bigthrobberus

I think he would be a great back up and would get goals against the bottom feeder. Though he is no better than Lukaku, Man U will fleece us and he'll want to start at his next club. Not going to happen

May 22, 201412 yr Micah Richards would be great back up a to our current rb and cb's. He is built for the epl He's built to play Rugby.
May 23, 201412 yr I dont think he would suit the way we play to be honest. We need a striker who can make a goal for himself. We already have Torres who needs to be given the perfect ball to get an attempt on goal.
May 23, 201412 yr Hernandez offers you 2 yard tap ins thats it, you want more than that for a guy who will play upfront on his own.
May 23, 201412 yr Hernandez has has great reflexes and clearly the finishers instinct. Maybe we could buy him for the 5-a-side league? Far too lightweight however ..... we need the 'Big Marrow' not the 'Little Pea'
May 25, 201412 yr Matic and Pogba in midfield. Perfect. Yeah as people keep posting, i still believe the chances of getting Pogba are slim.
May 26, 201412 yr Guess Barca strike first @Daniel741L: French media and now Gazette dello Sport are reporting that Mehdi Benatia's agent is in Barcelona to meet with the Catalan club.
