Sorry for the late reply foggy.

I'd have prefered shaw or moreno at left back, Pogba or vidal in midfield, and upfront I'd have prefered to sign immobile and remy.

Costa has grown on me, but I'm still not convinced he will produce that form again next season. Immobile/lukaku/remy for the price of diego costa.

Hopefully Mourinho turns him into the Striker we've been crying out for since drogba.

Pogba or Vidal would have cost significantly more than Fabregas (if we sign him).

Roman has apparently bought a stake in Real Mallorca. Could be another destination for our loan players.

Would be a good move if it is true. Its a far stronger league than the Dutch league so it would get some of our youngsters a lot closer to the first team than playing in Holland ever would.

    Dutch league is > than Liga Segunda

    Would still be better if they could get games in a better league though. Some of them anyway.

     

    Agreed players like Piazon and T.Hazard will go to a better league next season. I can see Wallace and Pasalic going to Vitesse next season.

    I read around the the traps today United are trying to sell off Fellaini for half what they paid Everton. Now sounds like rubbish to me, but worth a punt for not that much if it were legit? Would be a damn intimidating pivot.

    We went over this the last time. Hes not going to play well in a pivot, hes terrible at all the attributes you need for the position. No thanks

    In my opinion he's a bit of a liability at centre mid, he'd be contesting Oscar's position and I think there are three players in our squad that I would put in the #10 role before Fellaini. It would feel a bit like the Veron deal where we mitigated an absolute nightmare of a transfer and a tactical quandary for them by taking him off their hands, let's not make the same mistake twice.

     

    I think we should be looking elsewhere to fill the Lampard void, Fellaini doesn't have anything close to the skillset we need.

    Fellaini has proved he's not a midfielder, the guy clearly looks better uptop. Add to that he doesn't really have any skills as a footballer and it shows he'd add nothing to our midfield.
