    Apparently turned down Benfica as he didn't want to play in their B team while we are going to loan him to our Dutch feeder team.

    Prob he sold in a few years time for profit....that's all I think now when I see these things

    From today's Daily Mail;

    Sunderland want to take Chelsea's new £12m defender, Kurt Zouma, on loan for next season.

    Probably won't be true but if it is I think that's really excellent news for us as a season of Premier League experience would be good for his development,

    I'd be surprised if we let Zouma go out on loan having just sold Luiz and allowed Kalas to go out on loan for the season.

     

    But then again this is Chelsea we are talking about and we do some very strange loan deals. 

    I read today that they wanted one of our youth defenders and Baker on loan. Didnt see anyything about Zouma.

    I guess if we are buying another defender which is suppose to be happening then loaning Zouma to a premier league team would do us some good. We will get to see him each week and see if he is up to it in our league without him making the mistakes for our club.

    Surely you don't pay £12m for someone if your not sure of their ability and don't want them in your first team?

     

    Nearly all the young players we sign and send out on loan are signed for under £10m... I even read the other day that Lukaku's initial fee was £8m. 

    I do see your point but if he is a long term project then a loan deal for one season will do him good. He would probably get more game time there than with us.

    I think if we do sign another defender then a loan for Zouma would be a good thing.

    But if we sign another defender, where does he fit in when he returns from loan?

     

    There's an outside chance this is JT's last season so if Zouma is going to be taking a place in our defense from then, even as 2nd choice, surely it makes sense to get him fully integrated into the squad now. 

    Yeah we cant keep signing players for decent money and then punting them on loan never to be seen again.

    It's getting to the point players won't sign as they know no matter what they do (Lukaku) they just won't get a chance cause we just keep going out and buying proven talent.

    I hate to say it but I think this season will be JT's last as a player with us. If Zouma has a good season he would come back to us, if not we would make yet another signing.

    Dont get me wrong im not saying I want us to keep going down this road but thats just how things are going at our club at the moment.

    Hopefully is just a rumour, and quickly dismissed, but if Barça start waving stupid money, who knows .

    Barcelona will move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard if they fail to sign Liverpool's Luis Suarez or Manchester United's Robin van Persie this summer. (Daily Express)

    Every player has their price and if Barca want him then they should have to pay around what Real paid for Bale.

    We have no need to sell so we are in a strong place.

    We've already rebuffed PSG and their stupid money so even if Barca are interested in Hazard I see no reason why they wouldn't be rejected as well.
