Chelsea pursuing a striker

A number of the biggest clubs have set their sights on signing new strikers this summer, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United keen, and the Blues are no exception, having identified a number of potential targets.

There is a feeling the west Londoners could now have an advantage over Arsenal in the race to sign Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, as they are now expected to enter talks, while the Gunners are concerned they won't be able to get a deal done.

Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen have also been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge, ahead of the summer transfer window

I was thinking acthread on the NEXT NEXT Neymar, but your suggestion is much more efficient.

The Embryo that resembles Neymar the most?

It is odd that they always say Neymar. I mean Neymar was a very talented player, but (i) he never really reached his full potential, and (ii) as a professional he was a bit of a fcucking nightmare to have in your squad.

He wasn’t a bad player by any stretch of the imagination but I did think he was overrated. Would much prefer the next Ronaldo or Ronaldinho.

Anyway hasn’t Estevao just beaten his goal contributions under the age of 18? Shouldn’t we be looking for the next Estevao?

Chelsea are demanding at least €80m (£67m) from Real Madrid if they are to part ways with midfielder Enzo Fernandez. (Fichajes - Spain)

Marvellous business from our SD's purchased for £105m now asking £67m minimum. I know this can be spun nicely for FFP and his value has been written down a bit but for pity sake cant we get better commercial people than this.🙄

£105m to £70m is not good business no matter how they want to spin it. It's like buying a car for 30k, paying over 7 years, but selling it after 2 for 15k then claiming it's good for my bank balance. FFP is a fraud .

Hey Sconnie just because fichajes are unreliable it doesn't make our SDs deals any better.😂

Kobbie Mainoo rejected United's new contract proposal and stated he wants to leave.

Definitely one to watch. I think our interest was real.

Lavia, Enzo, Caicedo, Santos, James all going to be fighting it out for 2 positions next year.

KDH to sell as well. CM should be the last position we look the strengthen.

Wouldn't be the first time Clearlake buy a player in a position that is already stacked.

Not holding my breath for Lavia to sort out his injuries anytime soon and I am waiting to see how serious Maresca is with continuing with James in midfield after all our players are back.

I swear I have this argument with someone every year about having 'too many midfielders' is a fallacy and every year I am proven right. We are still one Caicedo injury away from throwing a towel for this season.

100% its something they'd do.

Lavia is still only 21, he's got to stay fit at some point. Santos needs 70% of games next season too.

I think the strategy changes completely if we are in the Champions League. Can't have KDH and Enzo stinking it up when we need to rest Caicedo/Lavia after considering the former's showings against part time footballers in the Conference League.

Santos will be a boost. I'd still like another option given at this moment our players can't even hack 2 games a week.

Chelsea 'HIJACK' Man United's move for top target Geovany...

Quenda was seen as Ruben Amorim's top right wing-back and the Red Devils have been heavily linked with the starlet. But now the 17-year-old has reportedly agreed to join Chelsea in 2026.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting this also. Highly rated left footed RW, capable of playing on both wings, and even in both fullback positions. Always felt he was destined for Utd as Amorim was a big fan. Already a mainstay in the Sporting side at 17; racked up 1700+ league mins already & has 1 goal, 4 assists. Will be interesting to see what we ended up paying as Sporting were after €35m+. He is one of the highest rated players in his age group, and with Estevao & Paez coming in the summer I am intrigued about our long term plan. Sporting have a history of churning out quality wingers you just hope we didn’t buy him to farm him out on loan

I look at this guy's profile and all I see is another short-arse player (172cm) to get bullied in the PL ... if he ever makes the grade.

What a signing that would be and it’s smart to let him develop another year at Sporting.

Remarkably complete winger at a very young age akin to Yamal in that sense, not ability wise of course just in terms of understanding of the game. Only issue I have with him is his finishing/shooting isn’t great but that’s really his only weakness.

What am I missing here ?

A huge fee for a raw diminutive 17 year old in a position we are already stacked in, who is having a fairly average season for the best club in a weak league ?

He's not raw so that's probably what you are missing. He's already a very complete player at such a young age but he's certainly not going to help with our goal scoring.

If you are excited by Paez or Estevao then I see no reason why you shouldn't be excited about Quenda.
